I see the perfect textbook example of the grieving process; denial; this can't be happening to us, Guilt: Did I do everything possible to save my loved one? casting blame: it was not my faught: if they had given us earlier warning, if they had done this or that no one would have had to die. They will in some instances blame God> Those residents will start closure by actually seeing their loved ones dead, before they can complete the grieving process. Hopefully the community leaders will not feel to bad as they are doing the best they can do to handle the unexpected tornado!!

Your harassment of the local officials who are scrambling night and day to organize a gigantic mess is truly despicable. Organizing dead bodies and developing credible list of the missing is a herculean task. I know I have done it. You have made a career out of exploiting the suffering of others Mr Cooper but with this you have reached a new low.

The tragedy in Joplin is beyond words. Everyone is doing their best. But counldn't someone have established hot lines, where those who have survived could call in to be put on a list of survivors? And a number people could call to list those missing, and perhaps those could be cross-referenced? I kow it's a huge tragedy, but that seems like a relatively simple process to establish. I feel for them all....

Do you honestly think you are helping people by pointing out that chaos reigns? Give the officials in Joplin a break, or better still, have CNN give aid to the officials trying to handle an impossible situation. Just precisely who the hell do you think you are?

    Phooey!
