Dear Mr. President,
I have a suggestion for how you can meet the rising tide of Republicans getting into/ thinking about getting into/threatening to get into the 2012 presidential election: Nothing.
I know that a lot of your Democratic pals just can’t wait to fire up the blogs, hop onto the talk shows, and start attacking every GOPer who dares to measure the Oval Office for curtains. That’s fine. But I think this nation is flat out tired of politics. We’re tired of the ads, tired of the coverage, tired of the debates, tired of the endless sense that government is only about who wins or loses the next election instead of…uh…governing.
So govern.
