Letters to the President: #846 'Take it easy'

Reporter's Note: The president works hard. So do I. Plus, I write a letter to the White House every day.

Dear Mr. President,

I can't speak for you, but I've definitely been working too hard lately. Too many hours. Too many late nights. And too many of my precious minutes away from the office tending to business anyway.

It's no way to live.

To be honest, I believe you have actually had more time off in the past two years than I have. You've certainly taken more vacations.

I'm not faulting you, but rather I am faulting myself. I've always believed that too much work, in the long run, degrades the quality of your efforts. So I'm going to try to take it a little easier. Sure, I'm still concerned about the economy, and I'll still do my best on the job; I'm just not going to worry about it so much when I'm off the job

And I'll start by wrapping up today's letter a little early. Ha! I feel better already!

Mr.Tom, I'm sure the Prez. adores your letter, but pls. don't take it out on himjust because you choose to work hard, I pray you take it easy as well. The president does deserve those vacations, because he does work hard and his job is very stressful, have you seen his hair lately,Gray, yes I said Grey.he didn't have all that grey when he started this job.

I seen today a comment made on cnn.About congress was going to have to find common ground. I think someone needs to find common sense.Talk about how much money they needed to cut.How about all the money going to other country. What about the money spent to fighting everybody else's war.I think it is time america starts taking care of our TROUBLE first.Make cuts on us but other country still get their aid.We cant take care of the world with loans. We should come first. We get cut- so do they.
