I agree with the President on not releasing the pictures bin laden is dead and lets be thankful for that and move on. If the pictures was release some people will still say negative things like the pictures should not have been release.Either way you can not please some people. I think the pictures should have only been seen by the officals that was in that room on the night this took place. Please think about our miltary and other U.S.ctizens that is over in these foriegn countries.

The most important question that nobody seems to ask is why Osama choose to live so close to a Pakistani military compound? I mean, if you were on the run, you would hardly decide to go live next door to people “trying” to hunt you down. You would find a place that you feel confident where nobody would find you……and for Osama it is in the lap of Pakistani military academy!!

My question is if the seals fought their way up to the 3rd floor and killed Bin Laden . And ,Now I hear that he was killed on the first floor . If they dragged his corps to the helicopter from the 3rd floor then did they drag the correct person . So Why did they have to go up to the 3rd floor ?

If the shooting of bin Laden occurred in the last 10 minutes of a 40 minute shootout on the 3rd level (as has been claimed since the beginning), is it believable that he did not get a weapon during the previous 30 minutes? The latest report (wed eve) claims that he was unarmed and moving toward the door on the 3rd floor where there were weapons — thus he was shot twice after a woman rushed the Seals. It does not seem logical that he did not immediately get a weapon near the beginning of the what must have been a very noisy assault. hmmmmm?

If there were photos being taken in real time during the raid, (on the helmets), why is there not a photo(s) of bin Laden available, for public showing BEFORE he was shot. I truly believe that he is dead, but I too would like to see what he looked like after all of these years of searching for him.

For me the only reason the U.S. govt won't release photoes is because they know they went in an excuted an unarmed man when they shot him in the head at close range they blow a big chunk away and you can't show phot's of that. I believe he could have been taken alive but the U.S govt did'nt want that which makes the U.S govt no different then Bin laden may he rest in peace.

its about twitter Shoaib Athar who unknowingly livetweeted yesterdays raid on Osama Bin Ladens compound in Abbottabad. Did this man know already that Osama Bin Laden lived there? How could he guess that it was US raid against OBL?

Don't you think if there were any doubt of Bin Laden being killed that al Qaeda would have refuted the claim of him being killed or that we would have seen a video from Bin Laden himself already?

Americans do not need to see the gory details of someone shot. Move on America and focus your attention to the aftermass cleanup of mother nature's destruction zones. Spend more time in prayer than trying to catch a glimpse of someone who had no respect for God nor you.

Too many questions, too few answers.
Commander in chief: "Capture or kill OBL."
As reported on national news: Mission directive to Seal Unit Six: "Kill OBL."
    "OBL last one killed."
    "OBL unarmed."
Such an unmeasurable loss of anti-terrorism intelligence. What happened?

Personally, I am relieved that he is not a threat to us any more, however there are still so many terrorists out there that will probably want to avenge his death. He took away so many of our liberties as we know them. Our lives have changed since 911 and our country will never be the same again.

we all knew that one day Osama Bin Laden was to be captured or killed, but I wonder why can't we see what and how it happened and how he was burried? Why keep us guessing and suspecting It's just fishy and something is just not right!!

No do not have a public display of the dead mans face it would serve no purpose, and such actions would infuriate the terroris. It reminds me of a big bulley on the play ground, just because you can does not make it right. It is too disrespectful and the ball should stop with you Anderson draw the line there. There will always be doubters who have a glass half full and you could lay the whole body in front of them and they will not believe!

Folks need to understand, these Brave Seals are under a tremendous amount of danger. They don't have time to ask,, " Oh, Do you have a gun?" Come on people !!
