Shannon Adams I hope your smiling up there right now with a pint in your hand knowing that yourself, your family and friends get a small piece of closure. You were to young and to good of a guy for an animal like that to end your life. We still think about you all the time.

I couldn't help but think when I heard you say Bin Laden wasn't armed that neither were any of the thousands he killed on 9-11

Anderson, whoever writes your closing words for your program each night should be hired as a speech-writer for Pres. Obama. I was terribly disappointed with his speech the other night as he lacked expression and even enthusiasm when making such a HUGE announcement. He made the American people wait an extra hr to release the information about OBL and then didn't even use the opportunity to encourage the American people. Your closing remarks tonight were EXACTLY what I was hoping to hear from him. Thanks so much for your sensitivity to the people of New York and your obvious dedication to telling what is REALLY important. I am NOT from New York, actually live in Minnesota now but so appreciate your closing thoughts. Could your teach Obama a thing or two? =)

Information from Pakistani officials is so conflicting. Hours after the incident, I watched Pakistani TV as well as an Indian channel. The Pakistani official said they were aware of the operation, but were not involved.
Today I heard Ambassador Haqqani saying that they were not aware, and when told by the journalist that people were confused, he could not understand why and was adamant that they were unaware, stating that Intel was a combination of factors, and cited one of the worst cases, being Bush's quest for WMD's.
Seems ridiculous that this safe haven was in a military town for 5 years, not 5 weeks and no-one knew.
Anderson, can you please have him on your show?

I was wondering about that waterboarding, if it was actually used to obtain info., but Gloria said today that her sources didn't think so, since he lied anyhow, while others think that torture may have been responsible .

    Good evening Anderson, everyone.
I do not understand why the gruesome photos of a dead Bin Laden are so important to such a huge percentage of
Americans. Do people have to see to believe?
I was kidding last night when I mentioned the death certificate but is that needed too?

Bin Laden unarmed? As well as the secretaries who watched giant planes headed toward them. Muslim world angered that pictures of his body might be aired? Not true Muslims nor those that watched those same secretaries jumping from windows. Pakistani government incompetent? We should then be easily able to convince it to pick up the trillion $ debt. Can we just abruptly withdraw $$ and military presence from the country? Not just yet I think.
