In addition to resulting in the death of Osama bin Laden, the U.S. raid conducted by Navy SEALs also collected computer equipment and sensitive details that could be used to thwart al Qaeda, U.S. officials tell CNN.
Also tonight on AC360°, new details about the special forces operation ordered by the White House and how the administration confirmed that bin Laden had, in fact, been killed.

Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

Good Night Everyone! May God be with all of us!
I particularly admire the fact preparation took months.
I very much doubt that G W would have had that patience.
I suppose we'll never get to meet all the Seals and intelligence operatives that worked on this mission. Great job, whoever you are out there. Impeccable work. As long as the President knows who you are, that's good enough for me.
Have a great night everyone!
Good night Anderson. Take care of yourself. Good night everyone. Sweet dreams. See you tomorrow.
I think Al Qaeda would consider it more a provocation to see visual images of Osama bin Laden's death.
Good Night everyone. Have a wonderful evening!
this is the news a lot of people have been waiting for – it seemed like such an elusive thing for so long
@ Pam, San Diego. I do not know if you will ever know those minor details of the burial.

Wrong to question Bush's commitment/contribution to the bin Laden search! Dont care whether you are blue or red.
W put the infrastructure in place and Barry upped the ante to get OBL. In the end, Justice served. Thats all that matters.
Remember American flag has blue AND red ... not blue OR red!
What happened to the people in the compound who survived?
The President did make the right call!
I agree, Gloria.
They said that at first. Then they said he never fired a shot. Not sure what is true, but just more contradictions.
They're probably still going through the debriefing stage. Each SEAL has his own perspective. They probably have to piece everything together.
George Bush must be thrilled to bits.
Well Fareed is the expert so if he says this is a severe blow to Al-Qaeda, that their icon is gone and the ideaology is crippled now, well that's great then and certainly a positive.
