Amazing! It makes you realize how much protection a storm shelter can really offer. So glad they had the shelter and made it into it before the tornado hit. Does anyone know what brand of storm shelter they had?

This is Kevin, the man in the photo. The room was built by my father(a mason) and I. It was actually in an external garage that my father and I built behind my former home. The Room is made of 8 inch concrete block filled with concrete / re-bar that was tied to the foundation and the rebar bent over the top in a poured concrete ceiling that is about 6-8 inches thick with a steel door. My family and I are greatful to be alive.
