Reporter's Note: The president asked for advice from the public long before he took the oath of office, and I’ve been taking to my keyboard every day since. I’m sure it is exhausting for both of us.
Dear Mr. President,
What kind of an Easter weekend is this? Rain, clouds, gray skies. I can accept that on Good Friday, but it seems as if by Easter morning we should have bright sunshine, more in keeping with the holiday.
Well, I suppose there is nothing either of us can do about it, so let’s just cross our fingers and hope for the best.
What sort of plans do you have? I assume with the ages of your girls you will enjoy some excellent family time, and that’s as it should be. We will be doing much the same - going to church, enjoying a lovely meal, snacking on some sort of chocolate treats to be sure. (How do you eat chocolate bunnies at your house? I’m a “bite the ears off first” kind of guy.)
