2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

Merl, those trained 3 weeks in WWII joined experienced combat units, and were equipped with the best.
This is the problem when the Government has too much control. hmmmm reminds me on Congress.
Thanks Anderson for the Ridiculist That was funny
well the demographics are changing – the daytime crowd is getting older – the ones who watch morning and day tv are a transient crowd – once the economy gets getter and they get jobs there just isn't that same daytime demographic – times they are a changin'
Anderson, what is left?
Good night, everyone. You are a special lot.
The boy is so blessed. Why did his mother do such a thing?
That poor 10-year old. I have had that happen....no one wants to stop and help.
The Hudson River story is so sad. That poor little boy. I feel so sad for him.
That poor 10-year old boy...what he will live with it.
I heard about the story. He is a brave little boy. May God continues to be with him.
@ Mike, ...basic training 10 weeks...
During world war 11, korean war, our men were lucky if they were in basic training in the states for 3 weeks before being sent to the front lines, and we won. Rebels have a chance in my eyesight.
I do think they were, Mike. Can't imagine otherwise, personally....can't imagine it in almost any war. (On a personal level, wars within households for instance, yes...!...but with all the advisors and analysts, international and national, I can't imagine there not being awareness of complexity and uncertainty.)
Good discussion on bipolar disorder, Anderson.
Nancy in Oregon
(The Douglas household must be full of pain, with both members of the couple being ill. I'm so sorry for their trials.)
Both diseases can have arrested state so it may not be difficult all the time. I do agree, they probably have complicated emotional days.
