Abortion subsidies has been pushed through by democrats like Reed and Obama, and now congress is rightfully trying to prevent the funding of these abortions. Now Obama will have to face the truth and the will of the people and stop federal dollars subsidizing abortions. There is no need for state funded abortion clinics. A women raped can get RU pills,as part of a rape kit, at the hospital when they report it. Life threatening abortions are performed at the hospital. The truth is, Abortion is the killing of an adult human being in it's early stage of development, who's life was started, and has the ability to complete itself. The, yet to be born, child has separate DNA and should be protected by their parent, or the constitution, if the parent is unfit to do so, rather than taking this human life's right to live, away. It is just not right to kill, what are essentially, children, as a form of birth control. The ball is in Obama's court this is the bill congress voted on and passed; the will of the people, now we will see if he signs it. It is on him, and the Senate, not the congress. We should do what is really right, denying not the truth, we know in our hearts.

Should it be called "ENDING PARENTHOOD" I'm against abortion, taking a childs life is morally wrong ang illegal. How can our goverment support an organization, knowingly breaking the law. We all know how things are done under the table. There are more then enough couples, wanting to adopt, give these preciouse babies love and care. We have what-3rd 4th generation welfare, how many immigrants, they are the ones using yet another goverment funded program, to kill unwanted children. I'm very upset with this and the fact they want to do away with, reduce, etc Medicare. Seems to me I paid for MY Medicare, I worked hard and it is MY money. Not The goverments. They took it to bail out companys and who knows what.Did they ask, when do I get to take a BIG expensive vaction? Never, I live month to month on my Disabilty Social Security. If I have to buy my own health care and perscriptions, what would they like for Medicare receipents to do without? Utilities and food? How many checks come out of Social Security, That never paid a time for it, MAYBE, our goverment should start there. Thank you for listening, please pass it on.

What if you're 16 and just had a baby and depend on WIC and Medicaid for assistance for yourself and your baby. Wouldn't that be wrong to take money and services away from "what they say" is the most important part of our future... which is our precious children!

Abortions are plain and simple murder. How dare the government pass a budget with this attached. This is why our country is in the shape its in. We have to get rid of the cronies in washington and take back our Country. I myself wish the goverment would have shut down. Its all about greed and self. The hell with what the American people want anymore. Its sickening.

Planned Parenthood should be debated on the Congress floor and not hidden in the fine print of the budget. That goes for the EPA cuts as well. Idealogical discussions and making social policy in the budget is not appropriate – if it is an important issue like climate change, Obamacare, planned parenthood should be out in plain view and discussed. Sneaking something like that through only breeds distrust of our government and cynicism over just how much control we as citizens have over our gov't.

I googled Title 10 and opened the official site relating to family planning. The services Lisa stresses, like pap smears, mammograms, testing for STDs, etc.,fall within 10% of the funding. 90%, according to the official site, is for ¨family planning¨ a euphemism for contraceptives, IUD´s, psychologists and gynecologists who tell young girls how easy it is to get rid of IT,etc. Sen. Kyl was confused when he said 90% is for abortions, but abortions should not be performed at a site or by an organization which receives federal funding. It would probably be much too easy to trick the auditor. Also, as has finally been mentioned, all private donations can go to abortions since everything else is covered under Title 10. Sorry to be cynical, but I´m pretty sure Ms Richards is more concerned about her salary than about the poor women who won´t get their free mammograms.

Once again Republicans are using the same lye over and over again in favor of their agenda. They fully support blowing people up as "collateral damage" but won't support the poor or elderly.

Dear Politicians, FYI, "The American People" know that all of you can talk a big talk. Unfortunately of late you have successfully shown us that none of you can act. Maybe the best thing that comes out of this whole debacle is a record breaking voter turn out in the next election.

Planned Parenthood should get even more money. I guess Republicans would rather my tax money go to women that think having kids they can't support is a career.
