Dear MR Adnerson Copper AC 360 ,i been watching the sorty about Imman Alobeide a courage woman who want the world to know what happen to her ,in this civil war in Libya who was Raped by 15 soldiors, iam a man who who was born in Jordan and lived most of my life abroad ,iam a christain and born again in the lord ,iam willing to marry her if the goverment let her out of the country, our Lord teach usto help those who have no voice and no strength against the wicked ruler sam
Anderson, what's MORE concerning is that Eman mentioned that she went to the hotel to tell her story and to speak on behalf of other women who were being violated by the same men. Where's the news coverage of the other violated women?
Eman al-Obeidy did not lose her dignity. She still has it in spades. Her reaction to her terrible ordeal proves she is far more dignified and courageous than the "men" who abused her and hide their faces.
I hope she is able to get back to the east, to her family and husband.
Keep us posted on her situation.
I am sick and tired of watching the Libyan woman rape news for the last 2 weeks on CNN. Either Mr. Anderson Cooper does not have any news to report or CNN integrity has been compromised.
Eman is a real hero. The world has heard her voice and is awed by her strength. Let us all pray for her safety.
Thank you for keeping this story alive. This woman would surely have been disposed of had it not been for the media asking constantly about her. Unfortunately this sort of thing is very common in war situations.
