Eastern Libya is the centre of resistance to Gadhafi. It is also home to proportionately the largest body of foreign Islamists who fought in Iraq against the allies. So like now – it's not a delightful thought – just as the allies also intervened in Iraq, it actually freed the monster Al – Qaeda cells.

So, similar consequences just might result from the overthrow of Gadhafi's power in Libya. Not so much an Islamist Trogan horse, more like a Trogan Al – Qaeda stampede herd. Unbelievable! Better the devil we know in Gadhafi.

I think its time to let the Europeans take the lead in this mission. They have a vested interest in the region (considering how close Libya is to their countries). The US should no longer be the lead country in embattled situations such as this.

You already choose side in conflict and do not leave them alone because Gadafi will kill many of them if he wins as he did it in the past.At least you have to send on ground people for coordination between air force in close support to their fighters. In my experience spending there few years it is so hard organizing them and fact is Gadafis regime has to be dead.

I am more than dissappointed as to the way Obama and Hillary came forward and said that this dictator must go. We were all for helping these people get rid of this despot and help them get their civilians safe and see a better government of some kind. Then all of the sudden the US decides to turn tail and run. The US knows that NATO needs their support and were really talking big and then they run away and want to dump everything on all the other countries that are trying to help. It is sure not going to help our reputation or anyones election if we leave these people high and dry. Another thing is how are these people going to fight this tyrant with no weapons or ammo. If the US didn't want to do this then they should have stayed home. Someday these terrorist will be right back in the US blowing up something else bigger than the trade centers. Put your money where your mouth is or go home. I am so dissappointed in what I see from the US running hot and cold. I have never seen a president run from something after saying things like Ghadafi must go, no matter what. Maybe the US is going broke. For all Americans, I feel a certain sense of shame. I hope that we don't leave NATO high and dry. I am 67 years old and I have some strong opinions about all of the wars that we have been involved in. What happened to the Pattons of our country and a few other great men that would see this through to the end. Not run away. Our world is just falling apart. It is so stupid that someone like Donald Trump says that he sold real estate to Gadafi in the US and then says he wants to run for president. Who would want that for a president. What a Joke!!!! Movie STars and real jerks wanting to run our country. What a mess.

Thought: NATO forces are balking for a simple problem. They all need to learn proper strategy in order to win. The Us unfortunately is a god of war and knows strategies which we need to impart to the collation, to the rebels and to understand that all the players in this global theater look to the US for the next move. No ones fault, we just need to understand that aside from weapons they all need information, data in how to approach ghddafi's forces how to flank them out flank them, and for us to not loose our patience and understand this.If we want to play an instructor role then we must realize helping Libya become a strong independent nation and part of the Arab Nation they need to learn diplomacy, tact, and defense. this will so to speak arm them with all the information they need to thrive in a free world and never again have to pick up a sword. It would be a great dis service to just take over and not let them learn and apply these aptitudes in helping rid the world of tyrants. We all want Gaddafi out in would it just be easier to take him out with one swoop, but its not the altruistic method and Obama is doing a sterling job in applying the prime directive.
