Ok so food, water, medical supplies and communication have been cut off for the the rebels. Its starting to look like Gadhafi will win unless there is foreign intervention. Im starting to think its because they want him too so the oil continues to flow.

Dr. Pensky is absolutely correct. He also could be bi-polar...

What a strange parallel process occuring with Gadhafi & Sheen presently! Dr. Drew is correct.

President Obama needs to institute the no fly zone over Libya immediately. Democracy is at risk.

Of course they are playing along. They don't care about him; they want to make money out of his condition. Humans can do some pretty disgusting things and all the news lately only make that even more evident.

The rebels will be destroyed if we do not assist them and a no-fly is not enough. If we do not act, even unilaterally, then we will have missed the greatest opportunity to enhance our image in the Arab world that we are ever likely to see. This is even putting aside the humanitarian aspect of these people facing total slaughter by Kadafi's Army.

If the rebels can hold out this long, and they do because they know alternative is certain death as surrenders are not going to be accepted, then even 48 hours of applying small part of US military will all but end the conflict. The government forces and mercenaries from Nigeria will desert if US military power is believed to be immanent. If we do not help these freedom fighters what does the US really stand for?

So many people are following him like he's a hero...when it so appears to me that he's going down fast.

    Who released this?

I have no doubt about that. After someone abuses drugs and/or alcohol their brain is forever altered.

That is really sad that someone wants to make money off of quotes that do not make any sense. Win-ning, duh!

Do you think that he could have manic depression? How does this differ from hypomanic?

  16. Nalini

But even on Piers's show, he was incoherent and his sentences disjointed.
And he was probably not on drugs at the time. He also had things to say about Dr. Drew.

Charlie Sheen is high as a kite and happy about it. He wants the world to know. Pathetic!

Whoa, I almost missed this evening...but come into things when Sheen is flipping out. Wow, this is really getting sad now.

He looks like he's in a state of (mental)melt down. (at least to me) And likely physically too.

Full Charlie Melt-Down, sad. Perhaps in Charlie Sheens next video he should place an Alka-Seltzer(tm) in his mouth to add foaming at the mouth to his act!

  22. Carolyn

Oh, Charlie Sheen... I think he is going to crash... very soon... "winning" no.

  24. Cessy - Chicago

Charlie is such an irresponsible person. he has four kids and all he cares about is acting up. such an embarrassment to his kids and family.

I don't feel sorry for this guy. he talks about winning but winning from what? He's cleary hypomanic and needs help.

I started to follow charlie sheen on twitter, but I thought the tweets weren't funny, but stupid and sad.

    March 8, 2011 at 10:48 pm |

I don't think the skits are going to be funny anymore...

Let's leave the Sheens alone. OK?

@Nina, "There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the waves of the ocean."

I could only take so much of that and I would be bored to tears.

Sheen looks to be imploding, his family should commit him to save him ... from himself.

    Dear Andersom,
On behalf of the Libyan people I would like to thank you for your great reporting. You are a hero for the Libyan people. Just to give you an idea during a meeting in a social network chat room that included 100s of Libyans, the room became silent when AC360 came on! Keep up the good work and please accept our respect and gratitude.

"tiger-blood"? Really?? I don't think that has any staying power. (I hope!)

Charlie is sad. He is crashing fast. dying is not for amateurs~

Sheen is the perfect example of what fame, materialism, consumerism, and money do to people.

I know Sheen is an alcoholic, but anyone who wants to legalize all drugs should take a close look at Sheen.

Perspective is lost in the USA. People feel sorry for a spoiled brat like Charlie Sheen, and speak of him in a chat about Libya, where something legitimately terrible is occuring. It is also why football coaches make millions while teachers have to scrap for an extra dollar.

I love visiting NY but I love going back to the mountains more. Sorry New Yorkers.

Charlie Sheen... Duh??? What a sad story though, his family must be so concerned.

    @Jere
    "Who sold Libya the planes?"
Libya gets (nearly) all their Military equipment, etc, from Russia.

I agree. The US has to stop being the world's police. But since no one else has stepped up-kudos to them for even thinking about it. My own country (Canada) couldn't even get it's own citizens out of there let alone assist in thwarting a dictator.

They can keep Hawaii. I like my big cities and the change of seasons.

There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the waves of the ocean. A quiet walk along the beach with a cup of coffee in hand! Swimming and body surfing with dolphins...

    @Nalini,
Why don't you think that the Arab League has had anything to say about what has been happening? After all, it's their area.

Maybe the world can't arm the opposition, but I bet they can offer strategic advice, and assist with planning of the move towards Tripoli.

The world can not back down from our stance on Gadahfi and his tactics. We have to be smarter and tenacious.

Charlie Sheen looks like he's really been abusing his body these days, if this keeps up, he'll be unable to remember any scripts and lines in the near future!

    March 8, 2011 at 10:44 pm |
  47. Heather - Spokane, WA

Of course Hawaii is the happiest state, they get all the sunshine and warm weather. All we got here today was more snow, thankfully it was too warm for it to stick

    March 8, 2011 at 10:44 pm |
  48. Nina

Sheen and Qaddafi have something in common. They both suffer from delusions of grandeur

    March 8, 2011 at 10:44 pm |

You notice all those happy states had about one person per 50 square miles. Does that mean happiness is a lonely pursuit?
