You all are doing an excellent job in covering this story. I wish something can be done to end this quickly without additional loss of life. With Best Regards.

Townsend is right, if we allow this chaos to continue it gives Al-Qaeda a chance to organize.

However, I do agree that the U.S. should not act alone.

    @Janis,
    "Hillary looks very tired."
I agree. Looks like she's had many 4AM phone calls. I wonder what Biden is doing? Why don't we also hear from him also?

We (The US) do not get our oil from Lybia. So if the US got involvedit would not be for the Oil.

I hope that it's not taken this long for everyone to see that the Libyan people have not been on equal fire power with the Qaddafi regime.

Hillary looks very tired. Alot of sleepless nights for her. She is being very careful and doing a good job for the US.

She'll need to take a break in a playpen full of puppies every now and then to keep her strength up. LOL Just tiny bit of humor to break the seriousness of the situation.

    Good luck Hillary.

Yes.. Yes... Right on with your comments... I believe Qaddafi is wanting to play "our" hand. He knows American's pattern and can use that to his vantage point!!!

It's more heart-wrenching each moment watching this carnage, especially the beautiful children and the migrant workers. It's great that finally the Bangladeshis are on their way out, but the Africans are still suffering. Imagine fleeing from Somalia, to Libya, to nowhere, and same for women from Egypt to Libya to where? And on International Women's Day.

Hey Mr. Cooper, can you please explain this no fly zone? I don't get it. Who activates the no fly zone? How does it work?

@Nina-'People with schizophrenia are not that embolden. Many psychopaths have a strong delusional base'

Well, he is definetly delusional and has the mixed speech pattern and I would not be surprised if he has the hallucinations considering the majority of interviews he has done in the past he is looking all over the place and not very often at the interviewer.

Why is the Obama administration dragging its feet on this? This is why people don't have any confidence in them.

Someone needs to light a fire under the UN's butt or whoever is making decisions about what to do in Lybia!!! People are dying every day, every hour, every second. C'mon people. While they are laying in a nice bed every night and eating good meals every day. People in Lybia are suffering and dying! GOOD GRIEF!!! What is it going to take for something to be done!!!

@Carolyn- thank you for your post & i agree with you.

Part of my "emotional exhaustion" is partly from frustration with the International community & the US.

    Somebody needs to act now!

"Help the innocent citizens of Libya. Now."
It doesn't seem to be as easy as that. The Libyan people have been sending mixed messages; (they want help, they want to do it alone); and the rest of the world leaders don't seem to be in any rush.

Most tyrants are, look at Ahmadinejad and Chavez. Bizarre.

I wonder about the innocents in Gadhafi's family. The little ones who don't have the slightest idea of what their family is doing. Gadhafi is going to let them become collateral damage of his own vanity. Monster.

I am saddened by the comment made by Hilary Clinton yesterday.

She said that many of Al Qaida members in Afghanistan and later in Iraq came from Libya, mostly from the east!!

It is unjust to insinuate association between Al Qaida and the Libyan people who are fighting for their freedom and for democracy.

This misguided comment is detrimental to the cause of the Libyan people.

It was only a guess. It is difficult to psychoanalyze anyone at a distance. History has expressed many tyrants who appeared to be psychopaths. Psychopaths have NO conscious!

I wonder how we would have reacted if another country came in to help the confederate soldiers when they took up arms against our federal gov't? This is a civil war that we need to stay out of militarily.

@ Emily,, Regarding = "he must enjoy having the press at his disposal anytime he wants".
I agree with you. I think he punked the press today,By making them wait in a crowded area for hours for him to speak today and I think he only chose to speak to a few journalists.

    @Starr,
Qaddafi is very narcissistic. What really defies logic is that he seems to really believe that everyone is buying his "new" fabrication as to what is going on with the Libyan people.

@Starr & @Devona – Even though it's emotionally exhausting watching the death & destruction by a maniac, the world needs to stay focused on this situation... the world still ought to be of help wherever possible.

Hey A.C. If you were President of the United States, would you be able to sleep at night knowing that millions of people will be killed and there is nothing you can do about it. Isn't it all about money? If Libya was not an oil rich country how quickly would the rest of the world react and decide to do something to stop the extermination of millions of people.

The Opposition made a mistake in taking up arms against their own government.
I would expect Obama to defend me if Tea party or KKK took up arms against me.

I think just letting Gadhafi know they are there, even making alot of noise coming closer and closer would unsettle his nerves. Don't need guns to cause damage. Gadhafi is probably a very psychologically sensitive guy.
I think odd things scare him.

Good evening. That video showing the children screaming, injured and scared to death really brings it home. This is the first video I've seen that I think will make a significant impact on viewers around the world.

they are also systematically eliminating any "troublemakers" – the initial protesters (the bold intelligent ones), then those who were bold and willing to speak and bear witness, then those who are now fighting because they have nothing left to lose. they are not letting any of those who have a desire to fight survive.

those who may be swayed by money or other incentives have been removed from the "troublemaker" pool. if they say there are crazy people with weapons, they will create a group of crazy people with weapons in order to make that 'true'. they are trying to control the journalists as well – seeing who "behaves". very dangerous thinkers indeed.

I think Gadhafi has brainwashed himself into believing that he is invincible. I don't believe that he is playing with a full deck.

He does have delusional base, but many famous leaders in history have the same psychological profile.

"Red tape just doesn't belong here but what can you do?"
I think that what Anderson & the AC360° Team is doing is great. Keeping the public informed of what is going on with the Qaddafi regime is really important. He's gotten away with so much terror, over the decades; it's about time that he's not ignored. I really can't believe what he's doing to the Libyan people now.
