Separating Facts from Fiction in Libya: Join the Live Chat

[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/02/liveblogfinal.copy.jpg]

Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi faced reporters today and spun a story of what he says is happening in Libya. It's the same story his son, Saif,  has been trying to sell the world for days now. Tonight on 360° you will hear what they say is happening and then you will hear the facts of what is happening. We have the facts and evidence.

Want more details on what covering? Read EVENING BUZZ

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

it is hard when you have been a ruler for 41 years and everybody around you is telling you how wonderful you are

Gadhafi need's to stop the lies, when will he finally open his eyes and see what we see!

Brent, you are correct... It seems like everyone else gave news updates, but ignored the significance of this story. This is HISTORY that we are witnessing. And human suffering. Disappointed in other networks and other anchors.

Gadhafi tries to lie to the world but thanks to the media and AC360 we can see what's really happening in Libya

Its only a matter of time before Gadaffi's gone so the question becomes how soon can the west atone for its looking the other way by siding with the future rightful rulers-the people of Lybia. How about a no-fly zone and a daily buzzing of the dictator's palace by western F-16's? lets show this guy the door pronto...

Telling the news that people are not being killed when there are pictures of people being killed or dead people is like telling someone that it is raining and spitting on their head. He is not fooling anyone with this

I can believe that Qaddafi was laughing. He likely thinks this is all a big joke.

At present, there are demonstrations in Oman, Bahrain and Yemen, and the people there are being shot down like dogs too, and Saudi Arabia has sent thirty tanks to Bahrain, any chance of a " no – fly zone " there?

it seems that all these dictators who rule for 30 and 40 years lose touch with reality. i heard the same things from Saddam Hussein, Mubarak, Bin Ali. they all refuse to believe that people can rise against them.

I feel so sorry for these people. When is the International community including the US going to help these people?? We are watching night after night all the killing and we need to help them.
    Thank you.

this mad man and is followers need to be brought to justice. the blood shed has gone on for to long. how could we sell military weapons and supplies to someone who has been so crazy. we should have known that he had something to do with the plane bombing over scottland.

Libyan here- just wanted to say, we are at a loss for words to describe our gratitude for mr Cooper's coverage of Libya. he truly has given a voice to a people without one. I am happy blood isn't being spilled in secret, and a lot of that is thanks to Mr Cooper. Best coverage ever!

Why are we relying on sporadic images from cell phones when there are sattelites that can take pictures and video so close up that you can read a license plate. Where are these pictures and videos?

Thank you Anderson. For 72 hours it was like what is going on in the Mid-East was not happening. You either need a show on the weekends or to do what you can to make sure that everyone else continues to shine a light where it needs to be shined. The world needs to know what is happening to the people in Libya and throughout the Middle East. Continue fighting the good fight with them.

is it that we are scared that the people will turn against us if we help them. these people are dieing everyday there while we as americans just sit around doing hardly nothing. even if we give them supplies and aid it could make a difference to them.

Saif Gadhafi is becoming more active. The family must be becoming very desparate. He doesn't have quite the arrogance. I saw an interview with his brother who appeared quite nervous and said he just needed to get a lawyer.

This will be over soon. Elder Gadhafi is probably cracking and son is covering for him.
His mind can't process his future anymore.

Saif is as CRazy as his father!

God bless the Lybian people who have such courage to call you Anderson.

Do they know, do you tell them how much we (Americans) care about them? Please do.

I am glad she believes Gadafi will "fall" soon. At least Pres. Obama has put "assests" in the area to help if needed.

I think Gadhafi has schozophrenia. He has delusions and has disorganized speech which are signs of the disorder. Without knowing if he has hallucinations or any of the other symptoms, that comes to my mind

My question is: Why is it taking us The Great United States of America so long to respond?

I thank it is time to just set a no-fly zone so that we can help these poor people.

Good evening Anderson and everyone. Thanks again to Anderson and the 360 team for keeping us up to date in Libya. I'm not really sure that he believes his people love him unless "his people" is interepreted very narrowly to include family and a few stalwart friends. He might be psychotic or burned out on drugs but he is definitely a showman.
