At a Madman's Mercy: Join the Live Chat

You'll hear from a woman tonight trapped in her Tripoli home. She's a supporter of the uprising and fears she could be killed at any moment. Plus, a stunning report about an alleged attempt by the U.S. military to basically brainwash senators to approve more troops and money for the war in Afghanistan. You'll hear from the man who wrote the article and a former military officer quoted in it.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

RE: PSYOP and using misinformation to deceive people. Psyop creed is "Win the heart Win the Mind" One of the principles of Psychological Operations is to never use lies. If you are found to be lying to your target audience then you lose all credibility. Any information disseminated by a Psyop operative should always be true, but used in a way that can influence your audience in the way you want them to be. No different than the propoganda that todays politicians use on voters except that the Psyopers are expected NOT to lie.

Somehow it needs to be communicated to the revolutionaries in Libya that this fight is theirs, they have to go for it on their own because no one else will step in and help until after this has all finished

You Go Anderson! Keep doing what you're doing re:the crises in the Middle East. I never realized before just how many countries there were ruled by such unfair dictatorships. The citizens of these countries are so brave and deserve all the media time they can get. We Americans are very spoiled living here in the greatest country on earth. Perhaps your consistent reporting will make an impression, especially on our young people, as to just how fortunate we are. Also, by keeping this issue in the daily news, many religious folks will remember the revolutionaries in their prayers. Let's all remember to thank the Good Lord for our abundant blessings!

Good Night Anderson Cooper, Team 360 and everyone.
Thank you Anderson for having Fouad Ajami on your show. He certainly adds increased knowledge and insight into the nefarious and tragic events taking place in Libya.

My heart goes out to these people and hopefully we will have all our people evacuated along with the rest of the world so we can move on this terrorist, Qaddafi! This is really an insidious situation.
To the people of Libya, may you keep the faith, stay well and out of harms way.

@Emily, "Sounds like the government(s) knew that this had been brewing for some time, yet chose to look the other way. (the last with Bush Jr. -after Qaddafi gave up his nukes, he was no longer on the radar)"

I agree, but that information was passed down to Obama and he should have acted on it.
