New Video of Crackdown: Join the Live Chat

[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/02/liveblogfinal.copy.jpg]

Breaking News tonight on 360°. We have shocking evidence of peaceful protesters gunned down in Bahrain. All of it caught on tape. Plus, thousands of protesters converge on Wisconsin's state capital this Friday, like other days. Will their anger push the governor to drop his proposal to cut benefits for public workers, including their collective bargaining rights? We'll have a live report from Madison and talk it over with our political panel.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

@Karen, MN...let's face it, we're all going to have to sacrifice more than we already have in order to get through this monumental financial crisis created by the government/financial markets relationship. Nobody is walking away unscathed–especially the middle class.

Two points, What are the wealthy folks of Wisconsin giving up to balance the budget? And to Ed Rollins – The republicans just passed a house bill not to fund the new Healthcare law, that was put in place by a majority. What is the difference between Americas majority and Wisconsins majority? When are the wealthy going to stand up and HELP SAVE our country? It disgusts me how similar events or issues are handled differently. Either the wealthy START HELPING OUR COUNTRY OR THERE WILL BE NO COUNTRY TO SAVE!

@Emily, "This "I want, what I want, when I want it!" attitude seems to have continued. Unreliable."

Unfortunately, our government looks like a bunch of spoiled kids throwing a tantrum and we are paying the price because of it.

I understand the need to balance the budget, but why take away union rights? It will be interesting to see two years from now if republicans get reelected.

CNN do not stop reporting what's going on in the middle east. It's important for the world to see what's going on. You are our eyes and ears, keep up the good work.

Thank you for your coverage of the events in Libya. The only way for the Libyan people to succeed is for their voices to be heard. Thank you for letting us hear them.

If they can break the unions, then the regulations of number of hours one works per week, holidays, vacation days, sick days would all be on the chopping block

    @Jo Ann,
"If they don't get what they want they will not negotiate."
Worse than children, as they should know better.
This "I want, what I want, when I want it!" attitude seems to have continued. Unreliable.

The Democrats pulled this same stunt in 2003 in Texas.

kate and will – i kinda like it – that's cutesy for the more stuffy, formal "katherine and william"

"I wonder what they would say if they lose their jobs altogether?"
I think we all need to get a reality check and simply admit there is no such thing as job security anymore, union or no union.
