With tears in my eyes, I am proud you the Egyptian people, the world is proud of you too.
Just heard a lady commentary on FOX trying to give Bush credit for the sucess of Egypt's revoluntion. Said it was Bush who first started freedom on the Egyptians. I'm like, Huh? I give credit to CNN, Anderson, Wolf, Hala and the other guys on the ground in Egypt for staying on top of this for the Egyptians. Like the staff reporte said, alot of credit goes to Anderson.

Murbarak appointed his partner in crime to "take over". From my perspective on the outside it was obvious this liar and thief was not going to give up control.
Pride is most deadly and my fear is our country is filled with pride at the highest levels.
Some Egyptians suspect that the prerecorded message of Mubarak yesterday is fabricated...would anyone check this with their technology...
Czar Mubarak and his White Army are only interested in maintaining their power. Will it take the storming of a palace to bring home the revolution to Mubarak and his ruling clique? Is the history of October 1917 happening all over again?
The pepole of egypt need USA to hlep them for free demactice amarica wants to c demacrcy in the medl east please help
Mr Cooper,
It is strange how nobody asked to hear the firsthand account not as told by Mr Tait, but by his colleague from the Iraqi service of Radio Free Europe, Mr Nuaimi, who was actually beaten and treated much worse than Mr Tait. It is as if Mr Tait was Robinson, and his Iraqi colleague was Friday - his faithful aide and translator. To begin with, the story should have had a dual byline, bot Tait's and Nuaimi's. In all fairnerss, after this brutal experience, Mr Tait is left with the glory, and Mr Nuaimi with the bruises and the bitternes.
I can't sleep for Egypt is on my mind the whole time and I am not an Egyptian! I watched another revolution which was then hijacked by the arch enemies of those who brought them to power. The demonstrators must agree on a most trusted leader right now....
Mubarak should tell Egyptians his concerns for stepping down prior to Sept 2011 as it is clear terrorists from other countries support the chaos created by the protesters. Social media may be great at organizing protesters. Why haven't the protesters petitioned the government in writing all their concerns?
Mubarak needs to step down he is evil .the egyptions deserve to have better opertunities beter pay better jobs there children deserve better . What more does mubarak want he is so rich but he will not enjoy . Go egypt people go for ur human rights .my prayers are with u all
during the protests over the vietnam war, when confronted with the possibility of violence from the police, we used to chant,"The whole world is watching". Well, to all of Egypt...to the people struggling for freedom in the face of oppression, I say, hold tight, stay non-violent and chant,"the whole world is watching"...because we certainly are!
I have one thing to say to the corrupt Mubarek that was uttered to a pharoah a few thousand years ago, "Let my people go!"
Why haven't CNN discussed the possibility of the pro Mubarak forces infiltrating the protesters and committing violence to invoke a military response? This seems to be a predictable occurrence that no one seems to examine.
After living in Egypt as an expat for the last 25 years, yes I was here for the first re-election of Mubarak, I think this change is long overdue. I simply do not see the NDP not being able to see this coming. Democratical changes have defiantly been slow in coming and since I have been here, I see have seen little reason for the "Emergency Law." Yesterday brought a lot of hope, I envisioned local Malitias turning into grass root caucuses, seeking out answers to "what was actually happening?" and "where do we go from here?" Now I feel that will be known as Day 18 or Black Friday. I will light a candle for Egypt Today – Abu Mina
Hi Anderson, V.Important news
So sad today of what happened in Egypt,I'm so afraid for Egypt from that mad man Mubaraak, just want to let u know that I heard today on AlJazeera Arabic, that Mobaraak mens with regular cloth are in the tahreer square claiming to help people to find their lost cell phone, then they take them beat them and burn them with cigarets buds, they did that to a lawyer in the square, they accused him that he is from Israel, he is from Mansooraa, Egypt. he said there also some other people they had in the place they took him to, they kept him for two days, his body has marks of beating and burning, also there is a snippers shotting people from top of roofs in Ma3adee, Egypt. they killed 11 people including a baby, the people they were trying to go to demonstrate. Anderson, Please help, that lunatic and his people are destroying Egypt. Thank you. God bless
BTW, I'm an American from an Egyptian decent I have been living in the US for more then 35 years. I have family in Egypt and the US. Thank you dear, Good job as always, Magda
I am a Christian Egyptian war hero,
Anderson Cooper you have in his hands the evidence of crimes againest humanity committed by Mubarak againest his own people and during the past 30 years on direct orders from him to his thugs he butchered Christians and tourists to keep the west scared from the brotherhood so they can support his stay in power and your only chance to get the strongest evidence to condemn Mubarak is to get the Security Council to hold an Emergency meeting and to get the international criminal court to issue a warrant of arrest againest Mubarak's sacked interior minister general eladly who masterminded all the crimes againest tourists and churches up to this years new year eve murdering of 24 chriseians in alexandia and the killing of 6 christians on 6th January last year and you must act quick before he mills general eladly as he is the strongest witness to send mubarak to rott in prison .
and tell the world that since the disappearance of eladly and his thugs the muslim brothers are the ones who are guarding the churches and you can email me to give you the hottest interview of your life as you are my hero and yhey nearly killed you in caro last week .
god bless you mr Anderson Cooper .
I'm so impress on how this Egypt crises resembles what happened in Venezuela in 2003. We were in the streets on rallies, some of them got up to 2,000,000 people according international press. Same kinds of attacks to the press, national and international, same media strategy from the Government of Hugo Chavez, incredible the looks-a-like. Venezuelan crises ended in a general strike that halt the Country economy for almost three month, after which, demonstrators just couldn't keep the general strike. Hugo Chavez, ended what most people believed was a self-inflicted coup d'etad directed by the cuban G2 and the assassination of many demonstrators "From a brige" ( Puente Yaguno killings) People were shot from armed Chavez's supporters. With the coup d'etad Chavez cleaned up all officers that were against or nor supporters of his regime. Even though they come from Right and Left, since to me they share the same dirty tricks!
Choose the correct answer
Do you think after hearing that
1) the US should keep paying $1.3 B to that gang to pursue its barbaric torture of the people,
2) the US will stand up to the general morals and stop the money even if Saudia Arabia offered to sustain the ganag,
3) both the US and Saudia Arabia should pay the gang to keep on?
Dear Anderson,
I wish that there was something we, as free Americans, could do to gather here in Major Cities to have our own rallies to back the goals of the People from Egypt.
"A New Generation of a Free Egypt."
If Mubarak would like to be remembered as a leader who really cared about his people he could give each Egyptian1 million dollars and he would only have given away under one Billion of his 30 to 70 Billion that he has stolen from his country and kept for himself. He maybe using all these stall tactics to buy himself time to cover his financial tracks.
Who knows if he really is in Egypt anyways.
Lets gather here in America, lets offer Mubarak a way to redeem himself and make Egypt one of the richest countries in the world by given each citizen 1 million dollars.
Thank you for your dedication to this story, and it is my hope that CNN is backing you 100 percent.
Keeping Them Honest, is a very important show for these days of cover-ups and deception through-out the whole world.
Sincerely,
Hannah Hayes
I thinks you people are doing a great job covering the Egypt affair. What I would like to know is why are we not getting any news on what the other world leader's think about this
