Anderson...I admire you and have long thought you are one of the best journalists out there.
You are an inspiration...stay safe...we'd like to see you come home unharmed.
Anderson and CNN crew: as a Coptic Christian Egyptian American who escaped Egypt as a child, and on behalf of all Egyptian Americans I would like to sincerely apologize to you and your crew for what has happened to you in Egypt. It sickens me to see what the pro-Mubarak brainwashed people are doing to western journalists. And please know that they DO NOT represent the Egyptian people who are friendly, peaceful, and just fighting for their basic human rights as you have seen first hand during the protests.
Once again, we apologize on behalf of the Egyptian people. Please be safe and God Bless!
Sending my prayers to you and other journalists. Be safe.
Please play it safe, Anderson and crew! We appreciate your efforts to tell the story, but we want you to come back home safe and sound. The attacks on journalists are very concerning. I will pray for your safety.
Thank you for bringing news from Egypt, but please get home soon and safe. Anything could happen during such unrest there, want you and crew to be careful and return yo US, we need you here. Take care.
WOW! When i saw the video on CNN last night i was in shock could not believe my eyes.. I thought to my self Oh my God! Anderson.. what did you get your self in to, but thank God the crew and especially you are ok, Please keep safe your one of my favorite reporters in CNN, God bless.
I wish you AC and crew the best, but please be careful and play safe
My husband and I watch you every night after coming from work. We have dinner with you. Today it was very frightening and preoccupying to see you and your crew being attacked. I hope that all of you have a continued safe stay as you continue the coverage of Egypt's situation. Thank you for your professional and honest reporting.
Be safe and if u can just leave that place.
To the entire AC360 team... We thank you for all you do to get these historical events to each and every one of us. Please stay safe and call your Moms every few hours 🙂 I can't imagine what they are going through watching your in-depth coverage. Your show has been our favorite for years! Take care and know we are praying for you.
Anderson...I know being on the cutting edge of journalism is your passion, and you do an awesome job – BUT you and your crew's safety is worth so much more than being in harm's way to get a story. It's no longer safe there – please just come home. Be careful...praying for you all.
I'm egyptian, I live in the US for 5 years now, My mom works in one of the public governmental universities in Egypt, and simply the Government blackmailed all the university employees either they go proprotest for Mubarak or they won't get paied and they will consider them as if they didn't come to work.
That's very sad to see my country in that very sick regime.
Sorry anderson In the name of all loyal good Egyptians.
Please spread my words ao the whole world knows.
Anderson and crew , I have been following you daily, much respect for your bravery, honesty and integrity while reporting this historical event. you are definitely the Peter Jennings or Christianne Ahmanpour of our generation. Stay Safe.
So happy to hear that you and the crew are OK. Stay safe-we need you back in the USA.
Mubarak must leave. This insanity will end if Mubarak goes and lives like a king with his +$30 billion dollar wealth that he was stealing from Egypt for 30 years.
Mubarak has been a dictator for far too long.
Anderson I am glad you and your crew are Okay,
Thank your, for what you do. Be safe.
It takes more courage than what I have not to hit back and not to leave. I cannot believe you all are willing to do this job. I thank you very much. When I want to know what's going on in the world, I go to CNN. This weekend, I wanted to know what was happening in Egypt and as usual I turned on CNN and Anderson was there. Stay safe Anderson and AC360 Crew.
Becareful and take care of yourself and the crew!
Bless you, Anderson. I shall keep you in
my prayers as you are a "one of a kind
unbelievable journalist"!
So glad to hear that you were able to report from a safe place. I'll be holding my breath until you are all home again. I read your book and know that you've been in dangerous places before, but this sounds like the worst. My prayers are with you.
Stay safe Anderson and Crew! You guys are truly heros. Risking your lives to help spread the story.
I'm just glad you & your crew are ok Anderson. Please be careful. We need people like you to stay safe when you're reporting. You don't just report the story, you make a difference when you report and you help people doing it.
I am very happy you, Anderson, and your crew made it out okay. I am glad there were some people who were kind enough to see you through. I am glad you are able to tell us, in your own voice, about the assault. Be well and be safe.
Hi Anderson,
Please stay safe. So sorry this happened to you and your crew. As always your reporting has been excellent. Get some rest.
Anderson Cooper tells a story like noone else does. He gets in the trenches with world disasters to get the truth out. What happened today was truly unacceptable, when he was trying to help these people get the truth out. He dealt with it with cool and clear thinking, but now either he needs more security or needs to get out of there. He is irreplaceable to viewers and the world he covers. Keep him safe, CNN, and all the other brave journalists who carry not swords, but cameras and pens.
