Anderson and CNN crew: as a Coptic Christian Egyptian American who escaped Egypt as a child, and on behalf of all Egyptian Americans I would like to sincerely apologize to you and your crew for what has happened to you in Egypt. It sickens me to see what the pro-Mubarak brainwashed people are doing to western journalists. And please know that they DO NOT represent the Egyptian people who are friendly, peaceful, and just fighting for their basic human rights as you have seen first hand during the protests.

Once again, we apologize on behalf of the Egyptian people. Please be safe and God Bless!

Please stay safe and call your Moms every few hours 🙂 I can't imagine what they are going through watching your in-depth coverage. Your show has been our favorite for years! Anderson...I know being on the cutting edge of journalism is your passion, and you do an awesome job – BUT you and your crew's safety is worth so much more than being in harm's way to get a story. It's no longer safe there – please just come home. Be careful...praying for you all.

I'm egyptian, I live in the US for 5 years now, My mom works in one of the public governmental universities in Egypt, and simply the Government blackmailed all the university employees either they go proprotest for Mubarak or they won't get paied and they will consider them as if they didn't come to work.
That's very sad to see my country in that very sick regime.
Sorry anderson In the name of all loyal good Egyptians.
Please spread my words ao the whole world knows.

Mubarak must leave. This insanity will end if Mubarak goes and lives like a king with his +$30 billion dollar wealth that he was stealing from Egypt for 30 years.

Mubarak has been a dictator for far too long.

It takes more courage than what I have not to hit back and not to leave. I cannot believe you all are willing to do this job. I thank you very much. When I want to know what's going on in the world, I go to CNN. This weekend, I wanted to know what was happening in Egypt and as usual I turned on CNN and Anderson was there. Stay safe Anderson and AC360 Crew.

So glad to hear that you were able to report from a safe place. I'll be holding my breath until you are all home again. I read your book and know that you've been in dangerous places before, but this sounds like the worst. My prayers are with you.

Anderson Cooper tells a story like noone else does. He gets in the trenches with world disasters to get the truth out. What happened today was truly unacceptable, when he was trying to help these people get the truth out. He dealt with it with cool and clear thinking, but now either he needs more security or needs to get out of there. He is irreplaceable to viewers and the world he covers. Keep him safe, CNN, and all the other brave journalists who carry not swords, but cameras and pens.
