(CNN) – Sarah Palin is getting more advice from fellow Republicans – this time from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich who says the former Alaska governor needs to "slow down."
Speaking on ABC's Good Morning America Tuesday, Gingrich said a string of Palin's recent statements indicate she needs to "be more careful and think through what she's saying and how she's saying it."
"There's no question that she has become more controversial," added Gingrich who may face off against Palin later in the year for the GOP presidential nomination.
But Gingrich was quick to add he believes Palin remains a "phenomenon and "very formidable in her own right."

No Sarah, dont listen to Gingrich just carry on as you are.
I ask you to remember on thing your past and current ideology and thinking could not get you elected as Vice President.
Does that mean carry on as is? Or change the rhetoric?

sarah palin is correct and voices the beliefs of the center right who will the next election.
obama should be impeached.
Palin needs to be quieter; Gingrich needs to stay in his teaching job and not inflict himself on the country – he was so divisive when he was Speaker of the House I shudder to think how much worse it would be than now if he ran or even worse got elected. Surely somewhere in the GOP there is a well respected non-polarizing person who would make a good Presidential candidate – one who knows how to work across the aisles and have a civil conversation about the differences in legislation between the 2 parties and be able to work out a civil resolution.
