The RidicuList: The blizzard edition

A stuck plow, a hapless tow truck, a parked s-u-v, and a new yorker with a video camera make the RidicuList.

I got the best Ridiculist story for you. The city of Kokomo Indiana does not have Tornado Sirens. The mayor decided not to invest the $100's of thousands to purchase and install them. Instead, he convinced the city council to purcase and distribute weather radio to every household. In November, the city had its first Tornado Warning and 90% of the radios did not alert the owners.

All to save a buck. I would say tghe leaders of Kokomo should be on the Ridiculist!

Doesn't this fall under "an act of God" clause?

The response of former Seattle mayor Greg Nichols to a snowstorm cost him his job. He would have made RidicuList but you weren't here then!

Maybe some of us were dreaming of a WHITE Christmas, but not a "To-be-stuck" Christmas. Mayor Bloomberg, the "lots a talk and no bite" Mayor. New Yorkers are lucky this Mayor wasn't in Office during 911, what a mess that would be. Many people/streets are still not ploughed, more or less abandoned. Guiliani??!!! Where are you?

But wasn't everyone dreaming of a white Christmas?
