Be sure to research what you include in your national broadcasts. That book, "Fun With Pedophiles" by the comedian, Doug Stanhope, has no place in this discussion - it is actually a book about exposing pedophiles for their disgusting nature in very morbidly funny ways. Good work using everything you could to sensationalize yet another important topic <--sarcasm). Next time use a little professionalism and cut the confirmation bias.

I couldn't catch his last name, but the Jeffrey who spoke on the 1st amendment protecting this guy is absolutely correct. It was actually quite entertaining to watch the police officer completely unable to grasp really a very simple concept. Unfortunately, that police officer and others like him make up the majority of the population - also probably the person who was grasping for straws when he reached for Stanhope's book in an attempt give the arrested man some compadres. I will say, you friend Jeffrey saved you on this special.

Perhaps you should actually research what you say instead of just throwing out titles displayed after doing a keyword search. Fun With Pedophiles is a book by comedian Doug Stanhope in which he makes fun of pedophiles by using bait and switch tatics in conversations with them online. Maybe you should stick to surgery and leave reporting to someone with more depth and intellectual curiousity.

It is unfair and possibly defamatory to mention Doug Stanhope's FUN WITH PEDOPHILES in this story. Do your research and report on the appropriate materials for once!

Do your research better, CNN... "Fun With Pedophiles" is a book AGAINST pedophiles. It's a book in which pedophiles are targeted for humiliation. It couldn't be more anti-pedophile. You're misrepresenting things and throwing the people fighting the dirtbags in with the bad guys.

If he'd done any actual journalism, this guy would know "Fun with Pedophiles is essentially an intentionally hilarious version of "To Catch a Predator," except in place of Chris Hansen there's a comedian who baits and then humiliates pedophiles in chat rooms. But sensationalism sells more, I guess.

WTF? Why is "Fun with pedophiles" even mentioned? That has NOTHING ... I repeat; NOTHING to do with this. And the book is about Doug Stanhope basically doing the same exact thing Chris Hansen does on Dateline, except instead of arresting pedophiles, he just tries to gross them out and make them think twice next time. I own the book. It's hilarious, actually and I recommend everyone to take a look at it. It DOES NOT PROMOTE pedophilia.

As frustrating as it is, this is all about free speech. I think that the subject matter is repulsive, but at the same time, he has the right to write such crazy nonsense.
