Republicans attack over new job numbers

Washington (CNN) – Republicans were out of the gate immediately following the release of the November unemployment figures Friday as the two top Republican leaders in the House jabbed Democrats and called for tax cut extensions.
Current House minority leader Rep. John Boehner, who will likely serve as House Speaker in the next Congress, said Democratic leaders are "wasting time with meaningless votes," and said not extending the Bush-era tax cuts will result in more jobs lost.
"Families and small businesses have had enough of politicians in Washington talking abut creating jobs while doing everything in their power to kill more jobs," Boehner said in a statement.
Rep. Eric Cantor, the current Republican whip who is set to hold the House majority leader position in the next Congress, echoed Boehner's sentiments and encouraged a vote to "stop all tax hikes."
"The lame-duck Congress should do the right thing and vote immediately to cut spending and stop all the tax hikes," Cantor said in a statement.
The House passed a bill Thursday extending the Bush tax cuts for those making $250,000 or less, but top Senate Democrats said a deal with the GOP over tax-related votes fell through Thursday night. Republicans have continued to lobby for an extension of all of the tax cuts, including for those making more than $250,000 a year.
A bill to extend benefits for the long-term unemployed recently failed in the House and Senate.

I am as an independent so called alittle puzzled by the Republicans because all I here is criticism and not solutions. Come January end the shoe is on the other foot and they will have to I hope undo everything Obama didfinance reform, health care, Push not only can we plese report it properly not the spin maintaining existing tax laws, and then reducing them further.
As a result of above watch the 2011 and 2012 budget deficits increase, and if you think they are going to pull out of Iraq ( no stay longer maybe more troops or so called aid forces/privte security outfits)) or Afghanistan you are kidding,it will be more troops needed for longer, and permanent bases in future.
They will demand START is completely re-negotiated, DADT dies until the supreme court rules and they will delay that until after the 2012 election
I have my money to bet on all the above happening. Takers more than welcome I can become a millionaire as well 5 to 1 I'm 100% right, and 10 to 1 50 % right.

Please help me understand something. When you say $250,000 income limit: Is this before or after you've deducted all your business expenses, including payroll?
What a farce, the Republicans claiming that the 2% must also have tax cuts to create jobs! They have had the tax cuts for at least the last 8 years, what happened to the new jobs? Stop holding the American people hostage, hypocrites. It must be admitted that the tax cuts did create new jobs; however, there is only one problem. All of those jobs were created in CHINA, INDIA, BRAZIL, HONG KONG, VIETNAM, INDONESIA, etc. Get the picture!! I have this past year bought 6 Italian leather handbags– all made in CHINA!!! One is hard pressed to find products made in the good old USA!! I pray that President OBAMA will not fall for the hype and compromise.
