4) No links

This is the first i have heard about "sex" charges against Assange.
Of course he is in hiding, after dumping classified info into the internet and now sex charges, he doesn't dare to show his face.
He may think he is some kind of hero for releasing all this info, but he is most definitly a Coward!
He is Not further peace either, i agree with Jeff Toobin.
How does someone become like a "Julian Assange"?
I heard that he moved around lots when he was young...that he really doesn't have any loyalty to any country. Could that have something to do with it? It's very eerie! (to me)
They say that this Julian Assange is one of the most feared man in the world. I can't understand how Mr Assange and these young men got access to all these secret documents. I always thought the Pentagon had high tech protection against the hackers.
I smell a rat regarding the potential apprehension of Julian Assange. He's got the goods on a lot of "high-ups" in many places. I suspect the U.S. Government is behind this new development. At this point, I don;t believe anything about "sex" crimes–let's hear the specifics, Interpol.
He shouldn't be that hard to find.
Sounded to me like a movie plot.
@Mike, formerly from Syracuse, "The fence employed a lot of new technology. The bugs will be worked out and the fence finished. Engineering will triumph."
You might be right about that. I bet they said the same thing about the transcontinental railroad when it was proposed. If we can do that, why not the fence?
Emily and Sue from Syracuse,
I agree..... I hope so, They already posted Most Wanted List looking for Julian Assange be to found to be arrest as soon as possible.....
I wondered if the sex-crimes he's accused of is really a cover to get him for all the documents that have been leaked. It's got a lot of countries in an uproar over the information distributed.
that was a fair question... why would he walk out?
I am an immigrated (legal) and naturalized citizen. I would like to see tighter border, but with good process towards naturalization for qualified professional people who can contribute to this economy gaining some more core competencies. We really need it.
Never forget that newcomers like me actually buy EVERY SINGLE THING – we have nothing and no one to inherit from. And, we buy everything about 3 to 4 times before we settle – as earlier buys are absolutely bare bones. We contribute a LOT to the economy.
@JoAnn-OH I agree with you, Mexico Has to be more involved or we won't get anywhere.
The wikileaks guy gives me the creeps. Now I know why.
Great news that the Wikileaks founder will be imprisoned for whatever reason.
@Megan,
With all the problems that they've had with the "virtual fence" on the Southern border, I'd be surprised if they build one on the Northern border. It's one of the longest borders in the world, and with all the troubles that they've had in the South....
Terrorist don't need to use the border to enter the US. We are creating them right here and they are flying into the US legally all the time.
One of them, Nidal Malik Hasan even infiltrated our military.
@Emily, comforting to know isn't it? (sarcasm)
I am certainly no expert to be sure, but I bet these enterprising cartel folks would find a way to foil a virtual fence in no time flat.
The fence employed a lot of new technology. The bugs will be worked out and the fence finished. Engineering will triumph.
A couple of Basset Hounds would be better than this fence!
I heard that Julian Assange is actually wanted for rape changes in Sweden so I'm surprised that it's taken this long for Interpol or anyone to do something.
IRA? What, 10 years ago?
I do not see how a virtual wall will do any good
What about different weather conditions?
How does it effect the 'virtual fence'?
If tumble weed is having an effect, could you imagine what the effects of the weather would have on the Northern (& Southern) border?
I hope Assange is caught and Interpol double up on existing charges with including charges on terrorism.
It sounds like they haven't planned beyond just seeing what is happening on the border.
I remember when virtual fencing was proposed.
Specialists, at the time, said this type of border control would Not work.
So now that almost a Billion dollars later, we are finding that it does not work, just as the specialists had said in the past.
The panel is right, more boots on the ground is greatly needed and proper funding too.
Without the help and cooperation of the Mexican government the border will never be secured.
i just don't understand why their should be any discussion on the sexual preference when joining the service. like a previous viewer stated, gays and lesbians are not interested in straight people. heterosexual advances often happen in the servies. should we have a policy of dadt for heterosexual people also?
mccain is obviously homophobic. i don't care if he served honorably. people should shout loud and clear on his ridiculous changing stance on this daily. just because he served in the military does not mean he is above critisism.
my husband served here in canada for 30 years, and could not care less what his fellow soldiers sexual preference was, as long as they were good soldiers. please do the right thing congress, and for once the world can look on you as having the guts to stand up to the homophobics and bigots that oppose repeal of dodt.
Emily,
Yes or no....... They haven't put fence north as well......
What a waste, A virtual fence thats useless. The government needs to concentrate on the tunnels and more manpower at the border. This sounded like a good idea in the beginning. but it seems like it will be years before it will ever be implemented. That could be to late.
Can we get ANYTHING done in this country?? Another billion dollars and they'll probably ditch the idea anyway. No wonder we're broke.
@Samantha,
Almost a billion dollars! (Just a drop in the hat.)
That is good idea to use virtual fence best listen sounds.
If we start legalizing drugs, where do we stop? At mj, crack, meth? Where? No matter which drugs we legalize the drug dealers will come up with a bigger and better drug, so are we going to legalize them all?
There will always be a need for drug dealers. It is probably the one job that will never be downsized.
Isn't alcohol bad enough?
Regarding the "virtual fence", sounds to me like there was no follow-up on finishing this project. Love it when my tax dollars are wasted...
They are putting one on the Northern border too?
I saw this shot before, amazing! Don't you just love kids (and pets), who are a source of immense entertainment (at times),
@Casey- EXcellent post on GLBTG people! I believe that straight people believe these things our of fear or other reasons that make no sense and have not been proven.
Well said!
That baby is adorable!! Great one for the shot!!
I think that kid will be growing dreadlocks and joining a reggae band the first chance he gets!
The Shot== I've seen this video over and over. I laugh every time. Funny cute baby.
AWwwww!!!! I love "The Shot" with cute baby dances in the car!!!!! I love music, too!!!
Oh that child! So cute.
This virtual fence sounds virtually useless!
Lol kiddo is awesome!
ooo i love that clip, so good.. that baby has great taste 🙂
apparently when i was little i did the same whenever a green day song came on...
What a sweet shot. I feel the same way about music.
What a cute shot!
Bloggers,
I agree all of you...... we need overtured back to bill, Senators or congress will support this time.
Hi Anderson,
Your show brings a great view to my home in Newfoundland Canada. Very interested in the Tunnell Story tonight and the 'Don't ask, don't tell' debacle. Thanks for everything.
