The Birthers problem is simple and simple minded; because Obama was born in the U.S. to a free white woman and a free black man from Kenya they don't accept his birth certificate because his ancesters weren't American slaves. Now how racist and pathetic is that.

Wonderful that you challenged this state Rep. Leo Berman (R)Tx . . . great job pointing out zero proof against our President.

You've gained all kind of praise of worthwhile
reporting as any citizen should do with such outrageous allegations.

Keep it up, the reporting is Number for Me!

    Love it all! Rich Barski

After watching Rep. Berman on 360, I wondered if he realizes that his bill would exclude people who have been adopted from running for president. When a person is adopted, as was my son, the state (any state) issues a new birth certificate with the adoptive parents listed as the parents. Since it is an amended birth certificate, the adoptive parents and the adopted child do not receive an "original" birth certificate. The only thing they will ever have is a certified abstract of the birth certificate, the same thing that we have seen as President Obama's birth certificate. Thus, if Texas enacts a law that requires a candidate to show his or her "original" birth certificate to be on the ballot in that state, an adopted person would never be able to produce such an "original," and wouldn't be able to be on the ballot. Since Texas is a big electoral vote state, being precluded from being on the ballot there would have the effect of preventing an adopted person from running for president. I don't think that would be fair.

People are such idiots if they really think that the Birth Certificate is fake. I know this by myself asking the state of Hawaii, where I was born, for my birth certificate and I got one that is just like his. So if he is not a citizen of the united states, then i guess im not either.

Thank you so much for your clarity and sanity in the face of that birther idiot. We need so much more of this in the mainstream media!

Absolutely unbelievable how utterly impervious to facts these birthers are. They're convinced that President Obama must be foreign because he's not white, and nothing will convince them otherwise.

Thank you, Anderson, for providing an outstanding example of true journalism and fact-based interviewing.
