    The severity of this crime warrants the death penalty. The idea that our society would reward him by providing for him for the rest of his life at our expense is unconscionable.

    Being a registered nurse, I value life. Being the daughter of a father murdered when I was 9 years old, I say "death penalty". Normal families would find it hard to understand the impact violent death has on survivors, you may overcome it but there will be scars that change your life forever.
