I do not want all of the negative political campaigning. I don't want political parties calling my home, sending junk mail, and negative ads on TV. It is a waste of my time and money. It's too bad that Americans are so easily influenced. I hope the back lash from all of the negative advertising, is too get rid of those who practice it.
There was a lady questioning Mayor Hickenlooper yesterday asking only questions that originated on radio talk shows and have already been debunked.
I don't agree with her poltics, but support what she does...and what others on the other side of her do. The public needs to see these moments– unscripted and unregulated by political handlers. I appreciate her comment that the goal is to show the video captures in a way that they are seen in context.
THis is such a wrong way to frame a candidate. I for one do not vote on the more "perfect" candidate. I do not look for a robotic recitation of issues and a flawless repetoire of answers to awkward questions. I understand the candidate is a person jsut like I am a person and since I am not perfect I certainly can not expect that of the candidate. So her filming and attempting to "trip up" a candidate by finding him/her in a moment of uncertainty is useless to me in determining the best candidate and in fact this tactic turns me off of any candidate she may support or that uses her efforts.
Dirty ads work, and if you are in the election Business – this is your specialty.
