This Senator keeps his people down. Check out the schools in his city. Check out his radio station, 105.3, Hate Radio, which regularly suggests that the elimination of jews and whites would be to the benefit of the world.

Finally, people who understand. They have been race baiting since this man announced his candidacy. Richard Nixon had a healthcare bill in the works which would have passed if he had not been stubborn on one point. His words not mine, to his regret. Yet, no called him a socialist. No one accused him of redistributing wealth, just wanting to help people and keep medical costs down. They whined, wailed, moaned and groaned they wanted their country back. Rand Paul questions our civil rights but that means nothing, ofcourse. Some question our voting rights. Taken one at a time, it probably means nothing to you. Put it together and the meaning becomes nefarious. They question the 14th ammendment under the lie it is about immigration rather black citizenship. All our heads do not screw on backwards. never think it does. I am 61, black, college educated and a woman. I know what he means.

Anderson, you seem to have completely missed the point of the senator's call to his supporters to go out and vote. Your calling it race baiting is very unfair and rather inciting. I am happy the senator stood his grounds and explained what he meant even though no explanation was needed.

You were reaching too far here and you seem to know it because you prefaced the interview by reminding us of other folks you had "called out". Unfortunately, the issues are not the same – there was nothing wrong here and you need to apologize to the senator on the "Air".

You should see the campaign card Sen Sander's New South Coalition distributed. Talk about playing on racial emotions! They used an imagine of an obviously lynched and dead President Obama.
Sanders has made a political career and earned a comfortable living built on racial strife and politics.

He is endorsing two men who will actively fight for Black rights. This does not mean that their opponents are KKK types, just that he values protection of Black Rights, and those he names are highly engaged on that subject. Cooper, you are reading in to his comment, just as you do all the time across the board.
