Nice. See, this is what sets Anderson apart:.his sensitivity to Tiffany Heartley's feelings when discussing David's body.. thank you for that. Excellent coverage on Congresswoman Johnson tonight as well, although you already tore her story to shreds when you interviewed her a few weeks ago – that's hard to beat! 🙂
Sue, there was someone who called 911. I do not understand why he didn't hear anything. Noise really travels on water bodies like lakes and rivers. If there were shots fired, surely he would have heard something.
It's so hard to know how different people will react to the same things, Jacqueline, NY. I recall how Jon Benet's parents didn't seem to fit the mold either, in terms of how people expected them to react.
Tiffany seems so unresolved until she finds her husband's body. To see your "rock" and loved one killed, must be incredibly difficult! Finding his body might help her with emotional closure.
Anderson.
I agree!!!!! Me too..... I am pulling for Tiffany Hartley.... Hope her husband David bring him back home.
& i agree with Jacqueline it does seem like she does not have emotions...
Is she the only witness to her husband's murder? (I mean besides the guilty party)
I'm still thinking that there's much more to Tiffany Hartley's story. It's a sad story . The Mexican authorities are so afraid of the drug cartels that they will probably never find David Hartley's body.
And why is she talking to the media so much? I'd probably too distraught to be bothered.
I hope they are able to find his body so Tiffany can move on with her grieving. She is a very strong woman.
Emily, I agree with you about the waves.
Wow! what's so scary thought!!!! I hope that 2 guys Mexico will be arrested by officials.
Evening,
Not that I don't believe her, but Tiffany just never seems to have any emotions whatsoever.
I agree, Emily. The ads and the 'shock value' that some campaigns are using must rile people up to vote...or they would not be used.
How sad to have your husband killed in front of you and so brutally!
There is something about Tiffany Hartley that seems a bit off. I can't put my finger on it however.
I have heard that Mexico does not release deceased visitors/travelers.
What is scary is what goes on in the towns accross the border & trust me alot of people want thier husbands, grandpass, dads back
@Nancy,
Have a good night.
The Private Lake story is scary!
I think its made up, Im from Roma, Tx right next to Falcon lake...this story is too fishy..
@Lori,
I think that the waves alone would make it very difficult.
Did the Mexican authority send divers down to search for the jet ski?
Good evening, people....late. Good Monday to you all!
@Lori
Yup. Too many holes and unanswered questions in the Hartley story.
Hope Celine Dion and her babies will be ok.
@Sue,
I'm surprised just hoe much we are finding out. I really hope that the people will hold Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson accountable for her actions. I really is disappointing.
Can you imagine how hard it would be to accurately shoot from a boat traveling 30 mph at someone traveling 70 mph on a jet ski? It has to either be an accident or a made-up story.
@Emily I agree candidates should stay with the issues and topics of concern to voters.
I don't' see how the list of students who received scholarships through Rep Johnson's office is getting longer when the young woman is this rept is not ineligible according to the rules. Also didn't Todd Gillman note that Rep Johnson's office gave scholarships to 60 students overall with only five of those students being definitely ineligible and that her office did inform schools in her district about the CBC scholarships? What is the ambiguity in the rules that congresswoman Johnson referred to?
Celine Dion recently arrive hospital expecting twins..... My heart goes to her and her twins! 🙂
hello i live in ky and watched last nights ill
fated debate between conway and paul i live in the same city as dr paul and have no respect for his political positions or his views on race and the civil rights movement why people continue to support those kinds of politics is unbelievable i also previously lived in a town devasted by the 2009 tornados that hit ky and attorney general jack conway was on the ground in this little town of 5000 people within 1 day and thats the kind of proven record kentuckians need not someone who has closed minded views and only wants to serve a certain kind of ky. if dr paul represents most kentuckians views then kentucky is truly a racist biased place in which i no longer want to reside in
May mother and babies be okay!
Nepotism is part and parcel not only by politicians but part of society on many levels. Being somewhat cynical ... in this incident the Congress woman was caught but I am sure there are many others that haven't.
Lots of Love and positive thoughts out to Celine and Rene from Canada!
Twins!
Hope he's doing good in the polls there Laura in KY. I can't imagine Rand Paul being elected.
i'm so sick of these negative ads, please nov. 2 come soon.
That's awful that 2 postal worker were murdered on the job...I hope that their killer(s) are found and brought to justice quickly.
Even though I don't completely agree with Jack Conway's ad, he is still the better candidate for the job.
Yes, the congresswoman must be lying about all of this. But the larger issue is that if she would break the rules and lie about this, what else has she done or is capable of doing? Let's see if she gets re-elected.
@Megan WA
Thank You!
When this story was first aired on AC360 I think that many of us knew that there were more involved in the scholarship scandle than Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson.
good evening anderson from toronto here
I'm tired of hearing about the Congresswoman. Please move on, I'm bored.
Vote for the underdog!
@Karin,
I think that those ad's are working...those are getting the people that would not normally go out and vote to do so. It is also an attention grabber, it this society that we live in. It's all about the tawdry, etc. Those that already vote and pay attention, do so regardless. I really think that these ad's work. If it didn't pay off, it would have stopped ASAP!
Every election close to Election Day we seen nasty ad this year kind of scared candidates pop up left and right we don’t know much about them they attacking their opponent
Really scared
Paul Begala did an excellent job. Sorry Rand Paul – but not everyone is buying your ever-changing story.
I'm from Alabama so I've seen some pretty wierd campaign ads and demagoguery in campaigns, but some of the national campaigns are really outdoing themselves. We are in a sad state of affairs.
Kenya, I think they are untouchable.
