[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/02/liveblogfinal.copy.jpg]

Think you've seen it all this campaign season? Well, stay tuned, because you ain't seen nothing yet.
We'll show you a democratic attack ad that's even making some Democrats queasy. Plus, much more.

Want more details on what covering? Read EVENING BUZZ

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

    This is maybe not a great question but do you have to tell anyone if you plan on sending a balloon up to those altitudes.

    Breathtaking pictures.

    Good night everyone.

    Karin, I've served on jury's twice and I can't ever remember being asked about the death penalty. I do know that many jurors offer their opinions on it without being asked during the initial interview with the judge. Especially the jurors that don't want to be selected to serve on the jury for whatever reason..

  30. David, Indiana

    Regarding the case in Connecticut, isn't it the case that police make their presence known immediately in a hostage situation and commence negotiations?

    October 18, 2010 at 10:53 pm |
  31. Nancy in Oregon

    I share your feeling, Sue R. Canton MI. I don't feel that way lightly either, but some cases just seem so obvious to me....even from standpoint of the sick individual who did the deed. Anyone that ill must also be suffering. I think the whole process should be humane and quick, but I definitely feel that some creatures just need to be put down.

    Are jurors asked if they are opponents or proponents of the death penalty?

    October 18, 2010 at 10:52 pm |
  35. Nancy in Oregon

    I still marvel at the way murderers don't think that they themselves should die.

    October 18, 2010 at 10:50 pm |
  36. Sue R. Canton MI.

    I can't believe that I'm making this statement,,But I hope that Steven Hayes gets the death penalty. Even if he does he will still sit in prison for the next 20 yrs. and spend lots of the tax payer's money appealing it.

    October 18, 2010 at 10:50 pm |
  37. Emily

    This story is so sick!
    Each time I see her in the bank, it really is disturbing...knowing what happened.
    I think that Steven Hayes is going to get the death penalty.

    October 18, 2010 at 10:50 pm |
  38. Lori

    These were really terrible crimes. The criminals could have taken the money and just left.

    @Lori,
    That could be it...
    water is so powerful. With all the different things that I've had the chance to do in the water; the waves have been the #1 think that I've had to worry about. Each one is different and they can sweep you up, block your view, etc. Waves really are powerful.

    Given everything congressman Ted Poe just said, Tiffany Hartley has every reason to be cautious of Mexican authorities. What can be done for Tiffany Hartley by the Federal Govt?

    Does the coast guard presence of the lake need to be increased?

    October 18, 2010 at 10:47 pm |
  45. Megan Dresslar - Shoreline, WA

    I only can believe Steven Hayes will put death row and found guilty for him as murder his wife and 2 daughters.

    Such an impossible task, to convince people his life is worth saving.

    October 18, 2010 at 10:46 pm |
  47. Kenya

    @Jackline
    And why is she talking to the media so much? I'd probably too distraught to be bothered.
    ___

    I would too. Seems a lot like celebrity appearances she's carrying on. Maybe she ought to be grieving with family and leave the investigations to the authorities...

    October 18, 2010 at 10:45 pm |
  48. Emily

    the fact that she is showing no emotions whatsoever is really disturbing. I know that everyone grieves in their own way; so who knows what she is like; it could be her way of coping. After all, she has not found his body has not been found so it may not have completely sunk in. There is 'something', at least for me.

    @Mark and mary in toronto:
    I totally agree with you both. I've been saying that all day. The conservatives and the media can't stop talking about Obama's religion or past, but we can't question a conservative's past or religion? Wow, talk about a double standard.
