What this gentleman had to say is so disgusting. It really makes me sick!
Good interview Anderson. I realize it all has historical significance but it still seems a bizarre way to educate but then I never had a burning desire to dress up in uniforms and re-enact wars. Yuck. I barely can stand the idea of real war much less re-enactments.
Kind of goofy but the fact that he has been doing all sorts of re enactments has not been widely reported.
Good on the 360 team for getting that fact out.

The Nazi's remain a stain on human history and they do not deserve to be reinacted or even regarded or recognized in any way other than the vile group that they were.
We need to be very weary of the type of people we allow in congress. Extremist of any kind is not good for America... left or right.
I see re-inactments a lot. Most that have to do with history. It doesn't mean you like what went on during this time period. But when I walk away I've usually learned something from it. It could be that he was involved in trying to educate people.

This guy is so full of it. They're no doubt supportive of the extermination of Jews. They're shrouding it by calling it "history". Such lies coming out of this guy's mouth. It's disgusting. I hope people are wise enough to see through this and keep these people out of office!

Well I think it's fine to wear the uniform in the name of re-enactments, but wearing it outside of that (as a hobby) means he still glorifies those sentiments and what the army group stood for. For that reason as it has been symbolically hurtful to some people, and as a congressional candidate, Mr. Iott should perhaps leave the uniform alone.

being selective is sometimes required but one MUST ensure that it is responsibly selective and representative, right?
I think that dressing up as a Nazi and reinactmenet of the battles is just asking for trouble.

If the purpose of historical reenactment is to educate people, then it follows that the education you offer must be accurate. Yes?
This dressing as a Nazi story sounds strange. I'm familiar with re-enactment of the Civil War. I knew someone who did that but I've never heard of re-enacting this war or dressing as Nazis. Kind of a strange hobby but I don't know much about these things.
