Most people do not view homosexuallity as being normal. While students should be restrained from extreme harrasment of other students, parents should have some say in what method schools use to enforce this policy. how do you teach specifically that bullying homosexual children is wrong without at some point also supporting and validating the homosexual lifestyle as normal and ok to practice. For many Christians this is a matter of right or wrong with no middle ground.

Please don't let "Bullying" become a gay issue. I am the mother of 2 boys who have become new members of a community many times. They have not chosen their sexuality yet,and they are not handicapped. They are just new and unfamiliar members. They have been targets of bullying, also. Bullys are intollerant of ANYONE DIFFERENT. I pulled my boys out of the public school system because I know that there is no one who can look after them, keep them safe, and nurture their acedemic needs. We now belomg to FLVS (Florida Virtual School).

Bullying has been going on for a long time and it seems that only recently kids are killing themselves because of it. I think there are some other factors involved in this phenomenon. maybe parents should teach their kids to stand up for themselves and be proud of who they are. When I was a child parents taught children to confront the bully and expose him/her for weak ignorant person he is.

Anti-bullying laws do not push the gay agenda. What about the kids who are not gay that were bullied?? Were you the overweight kid? the kid with some learning difficulties?

    Bullying is NOT ok.
