Well as expected you end up with this being a "TALL TALE"in your so called fact check. Which left out the answer to the most important point. The lady in question is either an illegal immigrant or not, in which case Whitman did what is suggested by Brown i.e she employed an illegal immigrant and then fired her.
All the bits in between about this document that document clearly therefore falsely obtained and relied upon is OK she Whitman should say just that.
But the fact would still remain she employed and fired an illegal immigrant!! Voters can judge what is more important to them.
Frankly if any voter believes this is important in selection of person to vote for I at least am gossly disappointed in any American citizen so thinking in terms of of whom to vote for.

Here’s yet another example of how far American politics has deteriorated. All candidates’ use are accusations against the opposing party, mudslinging and in some cases, false advertisement. Why is it that politicians can’t win an election purely through their own merit? Why do they have to slander the other party?
In this case, we don’t even know if this woman is illegal or not, but she has been victimized by this dirty accusation. Politicians are willing to use anything and anybody, even an innocent woman working for a candidate to strengthen his or her campaign.

Considering Halloween is just around the corner, one would think that even Meg Ebay Whitman might recognize that there might be some skeletons in her closet she wouldn't want to escape. "Holier Than Thou" used to be an interpretation of self righteous virtue. Now the same claims, in an attempt to cover up the obvious, simply sounds ignorant and insulting. Do like Ebay though!

Same old blah, blah, blah. Every election year some politician or attorney rolls out another sobbing illegal who has been used and abused etc. Apparently, the housekeeper had some sort of forged ID, so how can Whitman be guilty of anything other than hiring a liar and a cheat The housekeeper is the offender not the victim, and apparently it was to her advantage to fly under the radar all of these years, so why bring up the subject of becoming leagal now? These people come here illegally, knowing the conditions they will face, but also knowing that our system of gov't makes it easy to obtain assistance, and most of them take advantage of it. I would never have someone in my home interacting with my family, unless I had run a background check on them. Whitman was just going through the motions when she required ID. Living in a border state, she had to know that there was a 50-50 chance that the ID was fake, so genuine ignorance is not an excuse. The housekeeper should be prosecuted and deported, and Whitman should do her own housekeeping.

It is inappropriate to for Tom Foreman to present an opinion on the Whitman case.

Give of the news, not your opinion and your ratings may increase.
