The representative in the scholarship scandal needs to be forced to resign. It seems these days our representative can be trusted at about the same level we would trust an inmate in a jail. Force her out and sh should be prosecuted. She's a fraud!

Hi Anderson – Love your nightly show – Anderson Cooper 360 – its great. You are a wonderful reporter of the news & you're just as great when you're on Kelly & Regis – filling in for Regis when he is out. You definitely are not a "One Dimensional Person – you have many sides and a wonderful "laugh". I'm so glad you're keeping on that Rep. Bernice Johnson story – she is outright lying in re. to the CBC scholarship money – she knows she broke all the rules in re. to who was eligible to receive the scholarships. She is so arrogant & bold to think that we believe her. Now, tonight to see that she even signed letters wanting the money to go to her grandsons directly etc., and not even to the University. You'd wonder if the University got the scholarship money? She is "Something Else" and I hope you stay on this story until she resigns, or they take her to Court. She was stealing the money & giving it to her grandsons, and they also must have lied on the forms. We are all tired of these unethical persons representing us citizens. She is a disgraceful, person & I hope she is defeated in November by her challenger, pastor Stephen Broden.

the actions of this woman, Rep.Eddie Bernice Johnson, as a public representative are OUTRAGEOUS. Her claimed ignorance, and claim of innocent "negligence" given the circumstances as a whole as reported by CNN is as disingenuous as her trying to brush it off by claiming it shouldn't matter because she has made everything "whole" by personally paying back the money. She can never make everything "whole." The students who otherwise would have received the scholarship assistance (through a legitimate process without her self-dealing) did not receive that assistance. Any damage resulting from their inability to continue educational pursuits without the assistance they would have obtgained can never be "made whole." She is not entitled to retain the position of trust that she has. She is a disgrace to her position.

Anderson; You should back-off this issue. You were brutal with her and you continue to be after the fact that she did apologized and said that she will return the money. Granted that she did wrong!very wrong! BUT your argumentative passion on the subject can be interpreted (by me and my collegues) as influenced by the fact that she is black, a black women! Blacks are getting all the bad press now a days. Back-off. Highlight the apology, the repentence and move on. Go after Sarah Pelin and the crazy Arizona governor instead. I bet you won't find a panel willing to attack their views and CNN won't even allow you to do it anyway.

I'm sure that scholarships and grants are very commonly awarded to family and friends of lawmakers across the country. Find something else to report.
