The sad reality is that the damage of unsubstantiated statements has already taken its toll by the fact that this is even being debated. It send a chill up your spine that she is advocating a World in which we have to be suspicious of women needing medical care to have a baby, or happen to be pregnant and entering the USA as a visitor. Nevertheless, I commend CNN for demanding objectivity and TRUTH from Mrs. Riddle. I think people like her in elected office (who by the way are also payed for by taxes) should be required to prove their statements or else be held legally liable. Politicians like her, who claim to be our representatives and role models MUST be made to account for their statement by actual objective facts, or else be held criminally accountable legally (if unsubstantiated). Lies and half-truths for political gain perpetuated on the American people is also a form of terrorism against the American people – an even worse type of terrorism. Her statements are akin to the Nazis propaganda of World War II (by the way I live in Texas and I am truly embarassed that someone like her holds political office here – obviously we are "asleep at the wheel" here and need to wake up).

The FBI needs to educate a few members of Congress as to the absurdity of their claims of "terror" babies. I couldn't believe when I first heard it on 360 that some of our Congressional representation actually believed this – if this is the average caliber of our representation then don't give them anything important to do. I'm going to have to see what the scoop on the Daily show is on this one.....at least it will be a laugh there!

You can't handle the truth, huh?

I like the way you guys willy-nilly some of us posting on this bogus site our RIGHT to correct your assumptions. Terror Babies is NOT THE REAL ISSUE – do your research and look it up (http://pewhispanic.org/ )

And you claim to "keep them honest" – why not start with your own honesty???

Brilliant... if it wasn't so sad that there are idiots out there spreading these outrageous lies about 'terror babies', it would almost be funny. Thanks for bringing in a real source. Unfortunately I doubt the crazies are watching CNN.

What's up with the state of Texas? Is there something in the water or is the heat of the sun frying people's brains out there? I've never seen such a collection of wacky, ignorant and moronic politicians in one place in my life! I'd really like to see you really keep digging an find out which one of those goofballs came up with the idea of "Terror Babies". Do they really think those terrorist want to wait 20 years for a kid to grow up, when they can recruit people right now? Unbelieveable! I really think there should be some type of mental evaluation given to politicians before they are allowed to run for office.
