Legal immigrants are required to carry their documents with them. I know my wife is an immigrant. So what is the big deal. I lived in another country for over 4 years and was required to carry my immigration card with me and was told I had to have it if asked to present it by police. Another thing why do people think being anti-illegal immigrant means you are against all immigrants?

Why this habitual DUI offender was not in jail in VA where he belonged in the first place? Now after they goofed, politicians in VA want to play politics and blame Obama (the Feds) for everything gone wrong. This dishonest practice by VA politicians and the pro-tea-party media must stop, and the Obama Administration needs to take a firm stand instead of going into hiding every time so-called conservatives/tea partiers open their mouth.

    Mr. Cooper,
I would like an answer to one question. Please. Why is the media and government making the immigration issue a "race" issue when it's clearly an issue of national security? People from all over the world are here illegally, and they are not profiled accordiing to race. Even the U.S. Census did not include "Mexican" as a choice for race. You can be any race and be from the nation of Mexico. Mexico is a nation, not a race. Please answer so someone wins the argument in my house.
    Thank you,
    Carol

Come on guys. The deaths that take place every day on our highways is the result of drunk drivers, regardless of citizenship. If you guys want to make a difference, report the tragedy that takes place every day on our highways. It has nothing to do with citizenship, it has to do with repeat dwi offenders being allowed to continue getting behind the wheel of an automobile. Demonizing illegal immigrants takes the attention off of millions of citizen drunken drivers killing innocent peoplen our highways. If you want to report on the problem of drunken drivers, please research the statistics before you go on the air with one of a million people involved in such a tragic accident.
