Prop 8, the California ban on same-sex marriage has been ruled unconstitutional. You'll hear from both sides on this historic ruling. Is the well in the Gulf finally dead? But what about all that oil that's already poured into the Gulf? Tom Foreman visited the town of Shell Beach today to find out how they're feeling about the news. And find out how a Facebook page led to a stricter drunk driving sentence, in our Crime & Punishment story. We'll have that plus much more tonight on AC360°.
Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.
Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

An hour goes by way too fast when Anderson is on! Thank you 360 crew, thank you everyone here, and thank you to the busy moderator here. It was a fast hour, but a fun one! 😀
have a great night! great show!
night, Anderson
be safe!
Good nite Anderson, thanks for keeping them honest! I hope you stay on this BP & Government coverup, it really smells!
I hope the fact that the majority of the oil is apparently gone doesn't make people forget that it is unacceptable that this disaster ever happened in the first place. We need to start seriously considering the implications of our dependence on oil. With the terrible risks to the environment that offshore drilling presents, is it really worth it?
Good Night. Great show Anderson. I need a funny shot to put me to bed.
Thanks folks! Have a wonderful Thursday.

Good Night Anderson Cooper, 360° Team, Megan and other bloggers. Have a wonderful week and stay 'cool'
The oil does NOT dissipate and dissappear. Santa Barbara & Ventura beaches still have oil from a spill decades ago, it never goes away. Ever.
Good night everyone. Stay "cool" !!
Good night everyone!!!
Great news session tonight!
Good discussion tonight! I learn so much from the show and blogger comments to see different points of view. Thanks for the education.
Good night Anderson and fellow bloggers!
I'm not sure how these percentages were arrived at with such precision??? But I am very happy with any kind of progress and very grateful that apparently no more oil is escaping. Doesn't change the fact that this has been a horrible crisis that was preventable and has done terrible damage.
@Jo Ann..."Drunk drivers are not given adequate punishment."
Absolutely
Goodnight AC360Team and fellow bloggers.
Good show tonight Anderson. .
stay safe everyone.
Thanks for the great conversation.
Good night Anderson and Everyone! Sweet dreams!
just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.

all the best
Miranda
what a full show.
enjoyed evan wolfson's comments on prop 8.
will be interesting to see what bp considers to be 'long term'
nite!
@Casey Jones,
"This is truly sad and unbelievable. "She's a mother, a friend, a daughter...." and a murderer."
She had quite "The record"....I can't believe how often people are getting arrested! One would think that these people are proud, it's so often. building up a 'record'...unreal.
Good night Anderson and bloggers Emily, Mike, Nancy, Sree, and Megan.
What happened to all the plumes?
Listen to the victims, they live there!
25 percent of the oil has evaporated??? That doesn't make any sense.
Drunk drivers are not given adequate punishment. If you drink and choose to drive and you murder someone you have done it deliberately and should be punished severly.
So far it looks like the well is stopped and I hope it is stopped permanently!
Tom, how was this data taken?
Its called drunk driving and there is a reason why its illegal (period).
Paul did not deserve to die! My heart goes out for his family!
I have sympathy for the girl who caused the crash but its due her insanity and stupid!
Hooray! The well is dead.
WOW Brad, glad you're here.
75% of oil gone is bologna! Propaganda to save BP money!
That is against at law drunk driving zero across the country....... I agree, Brad.
Wow,,,So much that can happen on Facebook. I love the fact that its nice to keep in touch with friends and family that I'm not able to see that often,,,,..But it also has a dark side that can cause problems for many.
@Kenya...thanks for being above the fray...
I feel that marriage is for a man and woman and has been a holy union for centuries! Why not take domestic partnership, most companies will still give you shared benefits such as insurance and such.... That is the drive behind this.... Tax breaks and insurance benefits.
@Nina, there are no mosques in my small town in NH. Does that mean we discriminate against Muslims? Let them build their mosque a respectable distance from Ground Zero. It shows they respect us.
It's unbarable listening to that last segment. I'm glad you guys ran it though because it shows how irresponsible people can be and still not care. Go TEAM PAUL!
Of course the drunk driver is a daughter, etc....but she killed someone. That left family in agony too. I despise seeing drunk (or any other reckless) drivers be let off easy. They took an entire life away. Maybe not purposely, but that is not the only measure.. Their own self-immersion and recklessness is what did it. They thought they mattered more than someone else....and often still do. They think their lives should be restored to them...but of course the one they killed is not restored.
Good night Anderson and may god bless America .
I'm for Team Paul but I also believe in forgiveness..let her serve her punishment but I hope the family can find it in their hearts to forgive this woman someday.
Be well everyone.
If they want to do background checks on all those connected with the mosque, then let's do background checks on all persons connected with every church and religious organization in the entire country. AND, publish the results. Or, maybe we could just tax these corporations.
I agree then with whoever said it the block distance from Ground Zero should be for ALL houses of religion and worship and not just Muslims.
Yikes..that was eerie... There is another reason not to have a Facebook page.
