I live in Kingman Az.. I have relitives that work for the MTC run prison...Yes the C.O.'s are only trained for low level inmates..This prison was built to house D.U.I. offenders...Not level 3 or 4 prisoners..
The C.O.'s are under staffed and under trained and under paid...I beleive they make between 12.00 to 14.00 dollars an hr..Low pay and Little training ends up with low security..Do you think that the MTC Co.
took in higher level prisoners without the public knowing? I certainly do!!!!Many nearby resident feel that the State of Arizona Should take over the prison...

I hope trhat when they catch these escapies; that someone will find out how much, or if the fight over immigration had to do with the success of the escape. If there were enough police at the right places?
