[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/02/liveblogfinal.copy.jpg]

Tonight on 360°, an exclusive interview Shirley Sherrod. Will she accept the offer to return to the USDA with a new assignment? We have her first live interview since Secretary Vilsack made her the offer. Plus, possible tropical trouble for the Gulf.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

Will they be able to figure out from the oil collect how much was spilled?

    Good night everyone.

I don't understand how anyone can think that it's not important to know how much oil was released into the gulf. Doesn't BP's fine depend on number of barrels of oil?? How will that be determined? But remember that BP is the biggest of Big Oil in our country and our administration doesn't really want to completely ruin that relationship.

Good night everyone. Great blogging, great program as usual.

Good night All...again, another great blog/ciscussion. I wish you all a safe and pleasant day tomorrow.

Good discussion with Mr. Carville. I continue to believe there must be a way flow rate can be calculated without opening the well again.

Either way, what "we" think will not matter in the end, unless out GOV. insists on flow rate measure.

Hello everyone - Thanks for joining up tonight. Thank goodness the government has offered Ms. Sherrod a job and an apology - but I agree with one of you who argued that she should have the option to keep her old job. After all, she may prefer to live in her home in Georgia, not pack up and move to DC. She deserves a choice!

The Truth, will always prevail. I hope we've all learned a valuable lesson from Mrs. Sherrod's story. Mrs. Sherrod, I'm sorry, and Bless your soul. You're a messenger sent from a higher power.

I agree Chi. But she still needs an apology by Breitbart, the guy who edited the tape before releasing it out! That, and he had the video since past March!! Apologize Mr. Breitbart!

Actually Anderson, I agree, Andrew Breitbart could just say he was wrong. The overall argument isn't as important as impugning Ms Sherrod's character and reputation even if that happenend unintentionally.

    Good Panel discussion.

I don't think Andrew Breitbart speaks for all...I'm sure most know that...
It's his name associated with this, and should be...

Isn't permanently sealing the well more important than getting a flow rate? Yes a flow rate would help legal proceedings, but can we risk it starting again?
