The title quote of this post says it all: "Duh?". It doesn't take a rocket scientist or an oil company manager to have to think for 5 seconds that "Uh. Maybe we need a plan in case something goes wrong.". And not the same plan for each oil company with references to the walruses in the Gulf and dead scientists. He's the same guy that said a narration to the live video would be forthcoming.....not impressing me here, Doug!
You flunk out !
Wow....finally someone from BP who understands what is needed to fight this oil – cooperation and working together of all people and organizations interested in cleaning up this mess. The breaking apart of the groups by state and beaches/mileage and putting one person over that section with all the resources at his disposal and the fact that he/she will be held accountable for that shore is a great improvement over what has gone on before. Suttles is impressive so far and seems to be addressing the problem efficiently, effectively, and truthfully. Its about time!
