PS. I live in Michigan. The "George" who spoke of the BP spill was a guest speaker on the show. He was presented and spoken to as though he had training and knowledge and authenticity.
I was listening to a loca radio staion last night "sunset coast" station on 94.6 I believe. Someone was on named "George" who claimed to have insider knowledge regarding the oil spill. He indicated there are signs (based on the Blow out preventer now leaning and gases excaping around the blow out preventer) that the earth under the Blowout preventer gusher is swelling. He claimed there is a gash in the earth under the sea a distance away from the blowout preventer which is the "real" difficult to solve problem that has gases and oil gushing from it and the blowout preventer is just a side show diversion. With his background (unknown to me) he indicated that the earth underneath that is expanding with methane gases and other gases could explode and result in a tsunami in the gulf. And that this is the reason for the hesitency in letting more and more skimmers out onto the water because if it explodes all will die on the water. It is volitle and could explode at any time and is very dangerous. He indicated that all the windows on the lower level of the ship that is digging the relief well that is closest to entering the gusher well have been closed and the men are now all wearing gas masks due to the extreme amount of methane in this well (40% as compared to the normal oil well 5%). He indicated that the air quality was very bad and unhealthy in the gulf region and suggested people leave the states. Not sure of his authority or truth or real access to insider info.
