Gary, Thanks for talking with the children. People tend to forget or don't think that the children are worried about what's happening to their community. They tend to think that children don't really understand or are unaware of what's happening. Most kids are quite intuitive, feel their parents upset and worry, and are picking up on adult comments and drawing their own conclusions. Adults needs to check in and ask them what they're thinking and feeling. Thanks for giving them a voice.
I feel for the young kids, kudos to there parents for the reassurance that everything will be fine.
