Editor's Note: After Friday's show, AC360° feedback was still all about the oil disaster. Viewers thanked Anderson Cooper and AC360° for staying in LA and getting the story from the locals there. Many feel that BP has been given too much time and the US government should be stepping in to take over and get the leak stopped.

I would like to know if with all of the oil and gas that is leaking into the gulf. Is the oil and gas in the well being replaced with water or is the ocean floor going to cave in like a giant sink hole and destroy the relief well efforts?

I think it’s time we took control of the gulf oil spill. The U.S. Government needs to freeze and take control of all assets of BP in the United States. The government needs to use those assets and take any necessary actions to be funded by those assets to stop the oil spill in the gulf and to take care of all those affected by this disaster. 60 days of an oil spill is 59 1/2 days to long.

I wanted to write and thank you for your very excellent coverage in the Gulf. There is no one on TV who is covering this mess like you, and I know your heart is in what you are doing. It is killing me every time I see a bird covered in oil, and I'm personally having a hard time dealing with it...I can only imagine how you feel when you see it in person. We are coming to New Orleans on November 9 to renew our vows. While we are there, we really want to volunteer in some way to help out.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Your relentless defense of South LA citizens in the midst of this BP disaster is incredible. Your support and the attention you command about every pathetic aspect of this disaster is tremendously appreciated. You give us a voice, and I thank you for that. You are indeed a son of New Orleans and South LA.

Please continue to bring the truth to the people. 60 days and no one is in charge. Our country is in BIG trouble. Please report the truth to the people. Thank you!

Thanks for showing the clean birds. It’s nice to see a good story from this oil spill. Thank you.
