Editor's Note: Sixth grade students from San Gorgonio Middle School studied the Gulf oil spill following AC360°'s coverage in class. They wrote in to tell Anderson their concerns, ask some questions and to find out what they can do to help. Click on the images below to read some of these letters.

Anderson,
Thank you so much for publishing those 6th grade letters. Sometimes we ignore the younger voices, but they are our future so its important that they know that their views and input now are being acknowledged!
Revise to edit before going to publish but great questions and thoughts shared. Pretty cool that Mr. Cooper decided to put these letters on his blog. "If you build it they will come." Are Mr. Cosner's machines in the water and pumping out the oil yet ?
As a former teacher, I really appreciate kid's voices being heard, they do have a lot to say, and we as adults need to listen and respond to their concerns. Thanks so much to this teacher for supporting her students to express their views and concerns, especially sharing it with the public.
