The Oregon school where Kyron Horman was reported missing nearly two weeks ago marked its last day of the school year on Tuesday.
A slide show featuring all the children at Skyline Elementary was shown at a special assembly, Portland schools spokesman Matt Selby told CNN. He said the slide show included a picture of Kyron.

Horman’s stepmother reported the 7-year-old missing on June 4 after he did not return from school, authorities said. According to investigators, the stepmother said she last saw the second-grader walking down a hallway towards his class.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office originally called the investigation into Kyron’s disappearance as an endangered missing child case. It has since classified it as a criminal inquiry.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office released photographs to the public of a replica of the eyeglass frame worn by Kyron on the day he vanished.
In a briefing on Monday, Captain Jason Gates of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said 1,300 people participated in the massive search efforts for Kyron. An additional 213 separate investigators from 42 law enforcement agencies also assisted in looking for him, Gates said.
“The Office is steeled in its resolve to not let this become a cold case,” Gates said. “We are focused on this investigation and we remind all citizens of the $25,000 reward for information leading us to Kyron.”
Anyone with information regarding Kyron Horman's whereabouts is asked to call the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office at (503) 261-2847.

It's hard to ask this but have the police verified from wittnesses or surveillance that the stepmom did in fact leave him to go down the aisle to his class? I'm sure some may not like this question but the way this world is going it should be something that is investigated and even have her take a polygraph to get rid of that inquiry,it would be really sad to find out that they should have looked at that first!
I've been following this missing child for about 10 days now, and a few things don't make sense. If the step-mother saw him walking down the hall, she escorted him into the school. Why not walk him into the classroom? She dropped him off in the morning, why didn't she pick him up in the evening? Why didn't the school call the step-mother to ask why he wasn't in school that morning? We're looking at a brief period of time if the implication is that he disappeared while walking to class.
Well I would like to know if the step-mom has taken a lie detector test. Not because she is the step-mom, but basically because she was the last person who saw him (so she says.) It's unfortunate but it's usually the ones closest to us that cause harm. The investigators need to start there with poly's for the family just as a way to rule them out. I know that poly's are not evidence of guilt or innocence, but they are a tool that helps keep the focus on finding this beautiful boy.
I was wondering if maybe the school might have camera's? I know some do here in FederalWay,Wa.
my heart goes out to the family., i cannot imagine what they must be feeling. I hope he is found soon
How does a second grade boy disappear when he was already inside the school? I can't believe that school has NO cameras running. At the next school board meeting I highly suggest you get cameras installed before next school year because now all perverted sex offenders know where they can go to snatch a kid and not be on tape. Truly unbelievable. A pity for this young child and his family. My heartfelt prayers are with this young boy and his family members.
How tragic. There is no question that someone abducted this little boy. Something very bizarre and twisted about this case. This will probably end up very bad. There had to have been a very sick predator on those school grounds on that day he disappeared.
