On his fourth visit to the Gulf region since the disaster began April 20, Obama will make stops in Theodore, Alabama; Gulfport, Mississippi; and Pensacola, Florida, according to senior administration officials.

After returning from the two-day trip, Obama will make a televised statement from the Oval Office on the night before he is scheduled to meet with top BP officials.

We want to know what YOU think Obama should say about the oil spill, BP, and the cleanup effort in the Gulf.

Obama needs to show America that there is a plan to clean up the gulf. Show us that tankers are de-oiling the water and plumes. Show us that the gushing oil is being captured up by tankers. Show us that wildlife along with dolphins and sharks are being saved before they sink in the oil mess. Show us that the fishermen and women are getting paid for the loss of their jobs by bp. Show us that people are taking care of their towns and coastline and not waiting for bp.
And tell us you are consulting with world experts in the Petroleum Engineering field on what we need to do to prevent this disaster from ever happening again.

President Obama should tell the nation that he is going to do what is best for the nation. He is not someone who acts out of what is best for his personal political career, but out of what is best for the people, the country and the environment we all share. Careers come and go. Our land, our atmosphere, our water, our planet do not, should not.

This requires thinking 'down the road' and not only of the immediate future. As Chief Seattle once said, it requires thinking of seven generations. We aren't use to doing this anymore. But, we must start because it is part of thinking in a sustainable way.

President Obama, I'm with you 100% if you speak up and take a stand on this. No matter the outcome for your Presidency, you will once again have done the ethically right and necessary thing.
