[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/01/02/liveblogfinal.copy.jpg]

Tonight on 360°, the latest developments on efforts to determine how much oil is leaking into the Gulf. Plus, survivors of the doomed BP oil rig tell their stories.

Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

With the footage of the clean up efforts, does anyone know where it’s going or how it’s being used? Is this being done properly or is more toxic waste being generated?

@Mike, formerly from Syracuse, " I'm not sure which is worse, BP's lies or the Administration's ineptness."

The administration's "ineptness" is worse because it is supposed to be protecting the American people.

there is so much about the forces and pressures of nature that we do not know – i don't know if we are messing with mother nature or not, but the forces of nature are pretty strong – flood, fire, wind, geological energy, volcanos – seems to me that mother nature wins a lot

Thanks for doing what your doing! I really wish you would try to find out how much oil is leaking into the Gulf because BP is refining the oil as it comes to the top as opposed to them just sucking it to the top and boating it off...

  14. Lori on the coast. Miss.

For those of you who have never spent time in the marshes of Louisiana, it is magical, beautiful, with riches of beautiful birds and the cradle of so many species. This is, indeed, a deep deep loss. I hope we can save these wetlands.
A little effort goes a long way.

Your right BettyAnn. BP's safety record is horrible. Reporter Randi Kaye has a story on AC360 site stating this very thing.
