We had a feeling it was coming, but it's still not easy to hear. There are new higher estimates tonight on the amount of oil that leaked into the Gulf. We're have that for you and all the other developments live from Louisiana.
Scroll down to join the live chat during the program. It's your chance to share your thoughts on tonight's headlines. Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.
Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)
3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)
4) No links
5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

The oil industry elects politicians who in turn-turn a blind eye to safety, concern and preservation of natures gift to all. Look at what this got us in the long run, its not about if its going to happen but just when its going to happen and that is now.
What is the complete account of the BP pipeline incident in Alaska?
Randi Kaye's report is clearly troubling. An 80 million settlement was that with the govt? That's a high penalty for operatiing violations.
Certain BP owes the families of those who lost loved ones and the survivors and their families expressions of sympathy and comfort.
Good night everyone.
Good Night Everyone! "May peace be upon us all!"
nite all – keep on doing what you do
We think the BP people are smart because they make tons of money. They are clueless. They only know how to make money by pumping oil. They don't have the skill set to deal with this catastrophy. We need to protect ourselves.

The US should take control of this situation, call in the best minds from Exxon, Shell, Chevron and MIT and bill BP for the fix!
Good night AC360 team and fellow bloggers.
Thanks CNN and Anderson for working so hard trying to get the news to us. God Bless these families. Stay safe everyone.
Tell me why we did not worry about regulations for BP, but the govt slows down helping save birds all because of so much red tape.
My prayers going out to the family. May God blesses all of you!
carlos nailed it – very simple.
Its does not matter at this point who is to be blamed – BP, Anadarko, Transocean, MMS, EPA or zillion other responsible agencies –
Whoever did it! I hope they give peace and pride back to the people.
