    That guy avoided the question. He doesn't think it's important we know how much oil is spilling

    I am surprised BP or any company is allowed to operate off shore drilling without a proven method of solving any spillage. For those large under water deposits that are very thick could they not vacuum them up like they do when recovering artifacts from sunken ships?

    bp has to pay for the cleanup but we the government must step in and oversee it all due to there lacadaisical efforts. i can't believe this pipe is still gushing. it's disguisting and drives me insane that theres nothing i can do to help stop this. there has to be a permanent ban on all offshore drilling, especially ones that are this deep down under the surface.it makes no sense, there greed and disregard is outrageously blatent.
