This election shows the fluid nature of our whole entire political system. You will see that the Tea Party will have limited effect on these coming elections unless you are a Republican. This is a coup against their direction. You will see, over the next few years, an assimilation of Tea Party values. Finally, the Democratic position will remain substantially unchanged. America needs infrastructure rehabilitation, and if the Republicans deter this, they will be out of power for decades.
